Heard there's some big wraps on this kid, I also heard he's a local. Good at halfback, good kicking game. Personally I havent seen him yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing him play. Does anyone know what sort of style he plays, is he gonna be the next best thing?

Yes he is the next best thing. He is the complete package he does everything, I can't say much more than we are very lucky to have him playing for us. You get players from time to time that are once in a decade players who can do it all but Blake is a once in a 25 year type of player. He reads the game so well for a kid his age.

We have more players coming through that will blow your mind. One in Particular by the name of Jarryd Hayne who is a fullback but is out injured at the moment.

I've seen Blake play a few times, but unlike Jake, I'll researve my judgement when we see him play NRL maybe this year definetly next year, at some time.

I believe he's better suited at five-eight but has handled half quite easily will be interested how he develops through Premier league this year.

Is Green is big enough to play five-eighth at NRL level?

Yes he is, He is very well built for half/5-8. Not bad for a player that was playing SG Ball last year ;-) I can see that TS and BG will be our halfs combo for the future.

there might be a couple of blokes named Marcus and Feleti that might have a say in that. ;-)

Yeah Feleti will be my Lock down the track. He is suited to that Position. Marcus well i haven't seen him play but people have raps on him. Thing is u can't fit them all in. ;-)

My Grand plan if everyone comes on and develops next year should look like this:

Mckinnon
Williams
Davis- whenever he decides to come over
Tahu
Grothe
B Green
T Smith
Cayless
Riddell
Stringer
Hindmarsh- 80mins
Morrison- 80 mins
Mateo- 80mins

PJ
Afamasaga
Robinson
Cannings
18 Tsoulos

Its a great position to be in.

He aint massive. But he hasnt stopped growing. Had the joy of watching Blake since he was 15 I think. Always been good but Its when he begun playing Flegg which impressed me the most. Dont know if he will suceed at NRL level, but is a really good prospect. Very complete game for his age.

Not sure. I know that Marcus played Lock in the Bartercard all last year, but apparently he is a ball playing 5/8 as well with a heap of skill.

some of you guys need to slow down and take a breath - no offence but we just have the team looking good and all some of you guys want to do is bring in other younger, even less experienced guys

youth isn't everything and expereince does matter and people need to give John Morris a fair go

and talking about size for 5/8's - Preston Campbell anyone???????

Thank god someone said it. Players can be put under too much pressure too early and have their careers ruined.

If we are talking about suitable sizes for positions then looking down the track if Tim smith and blake Green were to succeed I would suggest Blake at half and Tim at 5/8.

Aust Schoolboy halfback and captain. why would you not get excited that he is an Eel!!
