Blink 182 breaking up

i read about this. apparently dave navarro leaked it on his site then retracted the statement after talking with the bands management again.

not to sure how to react if its true. blink for mine have only really had 2 solid albums. its shame that they will be remembered for silly fart jokes and toilet humour instead of writing some great power pop songs like M&M's carousel josie and dammit.

I'll miss their film clips....always a good laugh ...and beats the shit out of all that Good charlotte crap going around now.....to me they are all the same band singing the same crap song wearing the same black lipstick....

I was just listening to an interview from Travis, and it sounds as if there may be more Blink to come in the future. He mentioned how they all wanted some time off to do their own things.

I think they'll be back in a couple of years, for possibly their last record and last tour

It's a pity the guys have slpit up just now, their last album gave the impression that they were turning the corner into something new and even better. Hopefully in a few years time they will get back together and produce their greatest work yet [-o<
