wow, heaps couldn't give a sh*t. haven't done much good since enema of the state imo.

I'll spare the predictable "if you don't care why did you post response"

I still think their later stuff was great. And besides, they will surely play all their old stuff when they tour again?

They were better with Scott in the band

Not a very big fan of them really but they did have a few good songs such as M&M's, Untitled, Josie and Pathetic.

Also had some woeful music

Hopefully they continue down the path of their self titled album, loved it.

My favourite band of all time, their music being the score to my teen years :D

lol, you spared nothing.
Because can't topics see both sides of opinion?
For the record, I couldn't care either, never found them interesting.
and this is the answer. i felt like expressing my opinion that their music really does not interest me.

And to be honest i dont know why you'd go see them, beyond the fart jokes they've had a rep as being a pretty terrible live band

I hope their next album sounds more like +44 than A&A. I thought +44's album sounded very close to what Blink would've been like if they'd recorded another album after their last, self-titled one in 2003. I am very much looking forward to hearing new material though.

For mine, the bands' low point came with 'Take off Your Pants and Jacket' in 2001, the album although fairly good musically, lyrically seemed to be based on the assumption that everyone listening was 16 and in an on-again-off-again relationship with some chick from Highschool. It was about that time I started getting more into 'Cheshire Cat' no coincidence there. However, come 2003 and I loved that last album of theirs. It was much darker, moodier and more mature. 'All of this' with Rob Smith singing the vocals remains one of my all-time favorite tracks. It's such a dark, moody, beautiful sounding song, especially with Rob's vocals.

I'm hoping their next album will be basically where they left off last time, with some of the +44 influence to go with it. Do that, and I can see them producing an album that will be an eargasm to listen to.

Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch were the soundtrack to my early teenage years.
Enema and Pants and jacket had some okay songs, but they really went downhill as they tried to appease the teeny-bopping Pop market rather than their punk roots.

That self titled album was complete dogsh*t.
