Bloody Rain!!!

In past seasons, if the Dragons were a racehorse and the heavens opened you'd wanna scratch them.

With Cats, Dogs, and the Kitchen Sink belting down out west at the moment, and storms predicted for tonight, the Eels clash will be played in conditions more suited to Noah & his ark rather than a league match.

And so, have we learnt to play wet weather football??? I think we have improved this season from those in the past, but I still don't think we can handle it as well as we should.

Yeah, we beat Parra at OKI in driving rain, but only just and the Eels were splutterring along in the comp at that stage.

I get sick of people saying "we need the rain...". The dragons sure as hell don't.

The sun is shining up here. :D

I don't think the rain worries us as much as it used to. If its as heavy as predicted, then its a good match for Gaz to sit out.

With the completion rates we've come up with the last few weeks Im not overly confident in the rain.

Wet weather seems to bring teams a lot closer regardless of talent, Im not impressed. We need some good clean football to get things going, not a bash up the middle arm wrestle like tonight will likely become.

Well once again it will be a question of discipline. Will we see Ryles continue to try and offload absolute speculators in a 4 man tackle? Most likely.

As long as Barrett and Head both have good kicking games (more looking to Barrett as his long kicking game is better) and the fowards can understand this is not the match to be throwing the ball around like its a game of pass the parcel we should win.

Spoken like a City Slicker that doesn't appreciate what rain means to people in the bush striving to make ends meet.
There's money in mud, none in dust. And if footballers can't handle playing in the wet, they should give away their highly paid careers and get out into the bush chipping burrs and feeding stock for the cockies
Never knock rain......
