I'd love to run for it.

Sure I don't live in the area but I relate.

I've done audits on similar businesses when I was working in the Big 4 as an auditor, but also in my current role facilitating the finance department in conjunction with strategies and implementation of new products in FMCG industry.

Sure I'm only 26 but I'd have more brains than most of the relics on that board imo. (Not to talk up myself). But there is no way at all I'd get in.

What have you got to lose? Run a campaign over at PI. Put forward some of your ideas argue your case and start building some traction. You'd be talking directly to the people who will be voting for this, you have a platform for promotion that none of the current board have. You might attract some younger members on the forum to come out of the woodwork and make their voice heard which is really the only way generational change is going to happen here. Worst comes to worst you spend some time writing some things on the Internet, and have a disappointing night at the meeting itself, both things I'd wager you were planning on doing anyway

Goes for Daz, franklin and anyone else interested but not giving themselves a shout too.

I have spoken to a few people. If a rebel ticket is getting organised and is short of 9. I will run. I would rather get a few business people get in & get the books in shape & just give them some ideas.

I am not a big fan of the 'blame the board' brigade for a significant part of our woes.

2011 clearly demonstrated we have too many players who are overpaid and over rated.

It would appear there is going to be on-going residual pain while Gould addresses the mismanagement of our salary cap.

Not sure what to make of our chances in 2012 but Ivan Clearly has the job ahead.
