I missed SD! last week, when he made his debut. He got a pretty big pop for a debutant.

I think it's good to debut more faces - the WWE is filled with heels.

That's what I was thinking. From the sounds of it he's got the raw ability.
I guess that's what SD is good for, unveiling new stars. As the talent roster is pretty weak, it's easy for new comers to shine and be noticed.

Also it's about time the WWE brought in a new guy as a face.

He is very over for a new guy, and I guess that demonstrates the fan's desire for even more big guys. That said, he can actually wrestle, which is becoming more and more of a trend with bigger guys these days. The Lashlight looks a hell of a lot like Faarooq's old 'Dominator', although slightly slower in execution.

I wish they wouldn't push new guys by having them beat up no name jobbers, though. It really doesn't do much. Having him beat up Simon Dean isn't much better, either. That guy hasn't beaten a legitimate worker in years.

I like him. I like him a lot.

And I suppose beating Dean is one way of getting him over....Thought it'd be better if he wrestled someone who actually won matches. And who actually wrestled.

Exactly. I don't mind seeing big guys as long as they can work a decent match. I have no problems with guys like Lesnar and Lashley - because clearly they've got talent beyond being big.

Not sure on this, but hasn't Shane 'retired' to focus on learning the financial/business side of the WWE? Word is that Stephanie will inherit Vince's creative role when he retires, and Shane will basically fulfill Linda's.

Not to say either won't be on TV again (it's inevitable, really) - but I doubt either would be likely to take on a full time role again.

Only in his WWE tenure, and even then, he's played face to Vince's heel before. If you ever saw him in ECW, he was basically a face for most of it - and did a good job of it. Hell, he was 'face' at One Night Stand and when he was on the RAW before it.

I didn't know that.

I only know him as Lesnar's evil manager and the guy who tried to mess with the 'Taker lol.

paul.e in ecw was awesome. everybody loved him in those days. his promo at one night stand when he give sh*t to bischoff, edge and jbl was pure gold.
