Bobby Lashley has put TNA officials on hold regarding his future plans with the organization until his MMA fight with Bob Sapp on Saturday, June 27. His fight with Sapp is by far the biggest match of his career and he wants to put all of his focus on it

was TNA signing lashley a waist of time??

Bob Sapp. Now that is a waste of time. The guy hasn't been relevant outside of Japan in forever.

nope he came out at lockdown and pointed to the ring then a week or 2 later he did the same thing on impact.

and if they can only use him when he wants to wrestle or wateva bcoz of his MMA career maybe he's not worth the trouble.

If MMA is his main focus then he can't possibly do wrestling as well. You can't put half the time into MMA as your opponent otherwise you'll get smashed.

If he wins this fight, another one will be around the corner. The only way he could ever give wrestling a go again would be if he bombs out of MMA and none of the big companies want to sign him.

i agree with you he needs to juz focus on MMA and not worry bout wrestling at the momment. but he signed a contract with TNA that said he will wrestle when there is no fight or he doesnt have to train for MMA.

The only time he wouldn't train would be straight after a fight when generally they have a few weeks break. If he wrestlers during that time his schedule would be pretty hectic.

yeah it would be good but we're rarely gunna see him
he's not gunna be in any rilvaries coz that would juz be a waiste of time
bcoz he can get callled up for a fight at ny time.
but i would like to see a lashley vs joe match on impact
that would be awesome.

He has to chose one or the other. The big MMA places like the UFc won't touch him while he's continuing to wrestle so his options in the sport would be limited if he wrestles between MMA bouts.

but doesnt wanna completly leave wrestling thats why he is with TNA
he tried to get back with WWE and still do MMA but

but first i wanna see lashley vs lesnar for the UFC heayweight championship.

TNA will stick with him if they can work something out. Why? Same deal with Victoria. MMA is HUGE. What better way to get publicity than to have MMA fighters on your roster? Great cross promotion if it can be managed.

yeah great promotion cerntaintly but if hes not in matches or in rilvaries its just not gunna work. victoria also wat kind of contract is she on? she is a big signing for TNA in the knockout division. i give it a couple of years and TNA will be the superior wrestling company in the business.

Yeah, as I said, IF. If they can manage which will be the big problem. It will depend whether his heart is in MMA.......one loss could change his mind.

yeah i think if he losses to sapp on 27th of june that might change his mind, he'd rather be in WWE though but a couple of months in TNA might cahnge his mind, but i think that if he does go back to wrestling full-time that WWE havnt seen that last of him before his career is up.

Just out of curiosity, what does Bobby Lashley bring? He was pretty ordinary as a WWE performer, even with the ECW Title and a storyline with the McMahon's. His in ring ability requires a big name with abundant talent to make the match look competitive, and in TNA that means only Jeff Jarrett, Samoa Joe, Sting, and Kurt Angle. A.J. Styles might, but to get a good build he needs to work on the mic skills. In all, it's pretty limited options in trying to make a competitive match.

i disagree tbh his size and strength would be different to wat TNA have in there roster they dont have a guy like lashley, and i think that was the problem with his time in WWE is that his so similar to batista your expecting him to be like batista, but i think he is betta then batista
WWE didnt give lashley much to work with you he could only work with what they gave him, like shelton benjamin you would expect him to be the most natural talented athlete in all of the WWE because they dont give him the chance, anyway what im getting at is lashley could bring a style that has never really been seen in TNA before.

Bobby Lashley actually has some great mat wrestling skills. But Vince wanted to book him as a beast.

If TNA wanted to showcase his entire range of skills I dare say a lot of people would be impressed.

yeeah hes a 4 time amatuer champion
a very talented wrestler and i wouldnt mind seeing him up against angle, TNA could do a similar thing like when they had aj vs angle amatuer wrestling match on imapct.

I've been wondering whats going on with Bobby, what a load of crap this is.... TNA have had a barry shocker here.... His a known wrestler but his hardly undertaker/Stone Cold status. So woopy doo!
