Not too fussed, a bit of a loss but not noose worthy
What is a concern is the goings are heavily outweighing the comings

Backrow options are Sironen, Blair..........Sue.............plus rookies........

Must be a signing coming to offset Thompson, Fulton and Patterson going.

Unless an experienced back rower is being signed for 2015 we are well and truly f**ked. As said above...we have Blair amd Sue who play lock...and Siro who has only just started in back row

Im also worried about the depth of our halves. I dont think Mitchell Moses is quite ready for FG yet and if either Moses or Brooks goes down injured, who do they play? Moltzen? He cant string any games together, while his confidence would be absolutely shattered following his string of serious knee injuries.

But dont worry, we signed Josh Drinkwater ffs. Letting Austin go was a monumental mistake!!

Hoping akauloa can lock down a spot. We've still got halatau too (like most I've tried to forget that)

Either Taylor is signing someone, he is planning on playing Sue or Blair a bit wider...or someone like santi, Lovett, funaki etc will be expected to come in.

I assume JT is signing off on all these changes, so he better not whinge abut injuries and lack of depth next year...

So right. An injury in the halves and we are f**ked. Way understrength and no depth backrow. Zero depth in outside backs. No backup hooker...... Great front row depth though!

Excellent squad of 17.

Absolutely f**k all depth. Could be a horror season if injuries strike.
If......uummmm...when they strike.

Our squad looks worse than the previous 2 years. We need so many young players to step up and to get a really good run with injuries.

It could be a tough season.

I suppose the hiatus period whilst they dithered over Potter and then waited until Taylor clear of commitments came at the worse possible time to sign replacement players.

For my 2 cents worth they should not have released Austin (probably even have offered him a further 2 year extension). I dont know what they can do for backrowers, there isnt much there in free agents and our existing depth is nothing to brag about. Blair has never really performed as a backrower for us. I hope there is a miracle signing coming but it seems too late for this season coming. I dont want to write off 2015 just because our leadership at WT f'ed up the coaching succession bit, but maybe I'll have to.

Apparently Warriors have released Bakuya(spelling) on compassionate grounds as he wanted to come back to Sydney. I imagine we would have announced it if he was coming to the Tigers but a straight swap between these would be good.

I hope Taylor has a plan. All the c**p about Potter that went down this season will be nothing like the c**p that will go down if Taylor screws up.

If we don't sign a backrower soon, it will almost certainly force Lawrence to move up front I reckon. It's inevitable if Lawrence wants to stay in first grade

For a change I have some faith in our football department, so I am sure their is plan or even a signing or two in the pipeline. Bodene was a handy player but no world beater

In the Kiwi/Kangaroo test the WT had four reps(Farah,Woods,Blair,Marty)all forwards, admittedley their form waivered durring the season but you would think you could build something resembling a half decent pack around them.
Injuries aside, the position the WT ended up this seasons just shows that some players couldn't hold their own in FG,especially the backrow.
