Karmichael. He went gangbusters for us this season and I wouldn't trade him for any of those guys. :D

Sonny-Bill would be next. Forget about superstar in the making, this bloke is already one of the best every time he takes the field.

2004 certainly has been a golden year for rookies.

He crumbled under pressure too much this year imo.

In saying that, he's still a freak.

Ummm, the bloke is 17 years old.

And he only had 2 bad games all season. Unfortunately one of them happened to be at the end of the season when the whole team was playing poorly. Against the Cowboys he was one of our best. The only mistake he made was getting bowled by a Matty Bowen leg break.

But even when he's having a bad game, he never distances himself from the action. He keeps getting involved.

He is not a player who crumbles under pressure.

I know he is 17 years old.
SBW is not much different, but his best games have been in the pressure games.

I'm not disupting that about Sonny-Bill. I agree that he has played great in big games, and I think he's a great player.

But just because SBW played his best in a semi final, how does that correlate with Karmichael crumbling in pressure situations? It's not a case of one or the other, the two are not related.

Watch our prelim final against the Cowboys. Karmichael had a great game. He took a massive bomb under pressure from Matty Sing, he had a brilliant pickup from an in-goal grubber with Cowboys players streaming through and apart from Shaun Berrigan, Hunt looked the most likely to bust the line with the ball in his hands.

There was no bigger pressure situation for him this year, and he played extremely well.

Sonny Bill. I have a feeling he's going to be the number 1 player in the world one day.

I was just justifying my reason as to why I believe SBW is the best junior going around. He stands up under pressure more than Hunt.

Knights 8)

He is 17, and a back-rower. Played a game of PL this year, after leading the SG Ball side to a premiership, and then becoming a regular fixture for the Jersey Flegg team.

You'll see him come through in a year or two.
