Now, we need a team name - for some reason editor isn't letting me change a team name, so if any of you have any lower league team which you think would be a good name for us, or if you can tell me how to edit a team name, tell me here!

I deleted FM07 from my hard drive about 6 weeks ago so I could get some work done (I ended up wasting my time on Dark Crusade instead) so I don't have access to my editor. I'm surprised you can't edit team names.

I'll install it now and have a squizz...

BTW, what ages and CA/PA will you be going for? Randomising PA might be a good idea (ie. 0, -7, -8, -9, etc).

You'd be among the favourites for the Champions League with a squad like that so you might want to make sure the club's playing top flight league football. I assume we'll be in the English Premiership? And give them a big reputation (7500+) and a lot of money or we'll all get poached by Chelsea and Milan in the first transfer window.

As for names, Dagenham & Redbridge (Dag & Red) is quirky. I think they start in Conference National (you're going to have them swap leagues with a bigger club yeah?)

Otherwise Smerkinhorpe is always good for a laugh, especially when overzealous profanity filters mince it up on messageboards.

Ok so it won't let me set a nickname for a team so I guess we're stuck as Thamesmead Town...but we do play at the Wankdorf Stadium (I moved it from Belgium) :lol:

I arranged us a stack of friendlies and went on holiday until the season starts. Will keep you guys posted!

Our pre-season was average, we lost a couple of games to Koln, Hajduk and some Japanese team (we toured Asia :lol Our first game is against Bolton, I'll kick it off in just a minute.
