Brad Fittler has just announced that he will retire at the end of the season. A very sad day in Rugby League history.

I always enjoyed watching him play, even when he was carving up my beloved Dragons a la last week. All the best Freddy.

na i think they will be chasing tuquiri. Wingy at 5/8 and slot webb at hooker isnt a bad move. Cross is likely 2 move to union so tuquiri will be good.

Can we please stay on the subject. This thread is about the retirement of one of the Greatest players in history, someone who has been at the top of the Rugby League world for 16 years! It's not about rumoured signings.

This is such sad day. Come round 1 next year, it sure will feel strange.

Mate I look at your team's roster, then I have a look at my team's roster. Then I think about the reported 400 000 extra you will supposedly have to spend. It's extremely hard not to be cynical.

True enough. Meant it more as an off hand comment.


It's sad to see freddy retire, he's easily good enough to go around again, and still one of the premier 5/8's in the game. Roosters will miss him, as any side would. Best of luck to him for this season.
