I've stated numerous times I want him gone but nobody would bite without provocation. There's no excuse for the low act he committed but there's certainly reason to believe that there could be reasons behind it. It's unlikely those reasons would incriminate Tahu either, so I don't see what the problem is exploring them, as that's all I'm doing.
But don't dare for a second suggest I condone what happened.

The tackle was borderline and Tahu's elbow quite clearly landed on his head. It's a separate issue to the Morrin bite, which I personally hope sees him gone for the year (as I have maintained everywhere on this forum all day). I just wouldn't be surprised if the technique Tahu used came into question as well.
There's also a big difference between a reason and an excuse. Excuses exonerate people and Morrin deserves no leniency. Reasons are simply events that occur that may lead to a course of action and I believe the reason Morrin bit Tahu is because of his elbow landing on his head as his head hit the ground. Why I'm not allowed to comment on that section of proceedings is beyond me.

Suitman said:Well, if Tahus tackle was as bad as what you say it was - ie. elbow to the head, let's see what the match review committee does with it on Monday, shall we?
Suity
