If you had to choose 1 who would you choose. Both are equally terrible yet both never get dropped.

Of the 2 Purtell is the one I would choose. While being the most unco human I have seen, he puts in 100%. Anywhere the ball goes he goes. I have lost track of the amount of times we give it on the inside & Purtell's there. When Coote is running back Purtell is there. While being faster Tighe has 10% of the work rate, more missed tackles, less tries & not much better with errors

Brad Tighe easily. Tighe is completely useless as far as centres go, but he's a much better winger then Adrian Purtell. He's less of a liability defensively and contesting kicks, and he's a far better finisher then Purtell, although that's more due to actually having the pace to finish off a movement where the line isn't completely open.

He was in really strong form last year on the left wing. He and Jenko had a good combination and I'd like to see them re-united. Throw Junior Vai Vai into right centre and then have all the other wing options competing for the right wing spot. If Michael Gordon stays at fullback it's up for grabs.

It always p*ssed me off that Matt Elliott would give absolutely everyone a crack in the centres except for Michael Gordon, the bloke who was obviously far too good to be out rotting on the wing and after his time at fullback should have been the first player picked in whatever position he wanted.

I mean why would we want to move one of our most damaging ball runners and strongest defenders into the centres when we could leave him out on the wing where he never gets the ball, and has to come in for dummy half runs and hitups to actually get a touch.

Adrian Purtell apparently to sign with Bradford this week.

Can he take Tighe & Simmons with him?? He well go well over there. Good luck to him.

Mx, I will watch some of the old games I have. I remember him being decent in 2008 & 09. Since then he has done not much

Yeah Tighe pretty easily. Don't mind Tighesy. Only issue with Tighe is whether he's on big money or not, and whether he should be moved to the wing.

The game that stands out most in my memory is Round 16 last year. Tighe and Jenko dedtroyed it down the left. Granted Tighe struggled with Tony Williams, but no moreso then any of our other wingers would have. Except Flash, he's actually strong, reads the game well and puts himself in a good position to make tackles.

I would still love to see a signing like David Williams so we could get rid of him. But outside of Flash Id say hes on par with our other wingers. All of them are inconsistent and a liability though. Our best chances at a consistent and above average player are Ryan Walker and Sandor Earl. Both still fairly young, inexperienced and have room to improve.

I have that on dvd. I will check it out although Jennings makes Simmon's look good so it could be the same here.

Walker and Earl both have spent time in Windsor and got better prepared for 1st grade. Tighe needs to do the same especially in defence.

Well with any luck we can sign a decent winger like David Williams and have the likes of Brad Tighe, Sandor Earl, Ryan Walker and David Simmons competing for the other wing spot.

Personally I want to see Ryan Walker as the successful one of that group. He looked so much more dangerous with the ball then any of those other blokes. He needs to work on contesting kicks and positioning himself, but most of those areas will improve with experience and confidence in first grade. If not him then Sandor Earl. He was an awesome right winger at the back end of 2010 that showed some pretty amazing skill to finish off some of the tries he scored.

Yeah he did improve a lot toward the end. But I still saw most of his good touches as things to expect from a winger more then your centre. I want him back on the left wing outside of Jenko, they had an awesome combination in 2010 and I would like to see them re-united. With Vai Vai at right centre and then the likes of Simmons, Earl, Walker etc. competing for the right wing.

Flash is obviously at fullback, and Coote is in the halves.

I agree with all of that mx. Gordon has to be fullback and coote needs a shot at the halves. He has the best kicking game at the club and is just not fast enough for fullback. All the good things he does has nothing to do with playing fullback
