Brandy's Comments About Milford

Milford hasn't robbed anyone.

The broncos decision makers who
signed him have defrauded the broncos.

They decided to pay him the big dollars, it's on them for being wrong in their assessment about his worth.

And Alexander is a flog.

Yeah but Anthony Milford and his manager were happy to push up his price by drawing interest from Melbourne. I don't buy this 'wasn't Milford fault' nonsense. It's virtually suggesting that Milford doesn't have to take any accountability for his performances. Milford has been given countless chances, and only just recently got dropped from first grade for the first time in his Broncos tenure. While other players (Corey Oates) have been given much less patience from the coaches.

For the record Greg Alexander has backed off on his comments suggesting 'they didn't sit well with me' and 'lacked respect'.

It’s noticeable this year that the fox commentators have been far more critical of players than in previous years. Cronk is at it all the time, Brandy seems to have just joined into this new culture. Is it a good thing? I’d suggest not as it doesn’t paint the game in a positive light. They arent fans in the stand at the end of the day.

There are some raiders fans that will blame everyone but Milford for his performance. Its all the coaches fault, apparently they have coached effort and giving a f**k out of him. .

Just like the cricket. Been watching that since I was a kid. You would swear ex players especially Ian Chappell never dropped a catch or got out to a bad shot. Whilst Chappell’s days in the sun are now dwindling, other ex players now commentators are guilty of the same thing.

Terrible Milford forced us to pay overs. This is the guy that used homesickness to go to the Broncos in the first place after another team had developed him. The Broncos weren't too worried back then.

Why not just call him on his bluff and pick up decent cheaper halves?

Broncos had already had lost Ben Hunt to the Dragons which put pressure under the club to retain Milford. Hindsight is a wonderful thing although no one denies he has the potential but he hasn't fulfilled it.
