When Grant was talking about player strength to support expansion he kept saying " we have 220,000 players and 16 elite clubs of 25 players" implying that to have two more clubs would require a growth in that 220,000 by an equal %. he conveniantly didn't mention all the players not in the NRL anymore, players in other countries we have barely scratched the surface of, Union players and jnrs we might attract etc. According to his formula we will need to grow player numbers by 27,500 before we can have enough players to create two new teams. I think his thinking is a bit flawed personally.
