Breakout year in 2016

We all take note of or follow players in our clubs & other clubs - watched them come through the ranks, recruited them but not sure about how they'll impact, have been biding their time learning their trade, showed early promise but maybe really not sure they'll deliver?

So... who do you think is due for a breakout year for your club this upcoming season, or if you can be objective, for any other club? Not talking about the hyped-up 'superstars' here, more the quiet achievers who you think are on the brink of coming into their own.

Not sure if he'll have a breakout year, but it's pretty much make or break for Konrad Hurrell in 2016.

His manager explored his options and nobody was willing to pay him what the Warriors were. From reliable posters it would seem that if he had of found someone willing to take him on the Warriors wouldn't have stood in his way.

Having said that, the guy is looking ripped heading into the Christmas break so maybe this is the year the penny drops and he gets it together. We'll see how he turns up after the Christmas break, The last couple of years he's over indulged way too much.

Good call. Personally I thought he already 'broke out' this year and was by far one of the Cowboys most underrated players. In fact, he was so good I thought he outplayed Taumalolo on a number of occasions to very little fanfare. If Freddy is serious, Asiata would be one of the first forwards picked for City.

Going deeper, I'm excited to see some of the Cowboys juniors step up. There's plenty on offer in Gela-Mosby, Hess, Kafusi and Chudleigh, if either of them step up, it'd be a benefit of the game.

Can Ponga play next year? A little cameo would surely make for an entertaining weekend of headlines.

Jack Wighton going into his 2nd year in his new position as fullback is poised to take a pretty big step forward.

He's had wraps on him for a long time, and everyone who coaches him RAVES about his athleticism and what a talent he is. I think this year he's going to start living up to that hype.

I also think this will be the year people really start taking notice of just how good Paul Vaughan is. I think he'll play SOO in 2016

Joe Tapine.

He's had quite a few first grade games already but most of them he's either been played out of position or not given enough minutes to have an impact. Th few games he played big minutes as an edge backrower this year, he was brilliant. He's very much a confidence player and I think he will flourish by getting a fairer go under Brown next year.

Te Maire Martin. He'll force his way into FG by Round 10 and will win rookie of the year comfortably.

Even though he's already pretty highly regarded I think 2016 will be the year Wade Graham establishes himself as one of the games top players. I think he'll have NSW and Australian jerseys by seasons end.

Ofahengaue and Molo for the Broncos, especially big Joe. Has size, a step, an offload, good speed for a big kid and can play long minutes.

I do not think that word ( breakout ) means what you think it means.
