I don't understand how you can be a rugby league fan and not be interested in a grand final? They had the inoffensive cowboys to cheer for as underdogs after all. Why if you're from Sydney would you be less interested just because there is no Sydney team in it? Makes no sense to me!

Those tv ratings are shthouse, we lost most finals game in attendances and ratings, looks like Murdochs master plan to make the other game the most popular is working.

Remember we are talking about ratings for what essentially a hyped up training run. Its amazing how , if you can get the media on side and peddle untruths and allude to a 'tough^image without really being tough that the public can be duped. It does happen! And a training run rates better on tv by well over one million than the much more intense and true battle of an Australian rugby league top flight gf! Its not a pretty picture.

If we dont discuss such issues then how do we improve things? At the moment other codes are aggressively plotting to derail rugby league and I and many others on this forum dont want this to happen.
