Wilson is a good player when the whole team around him is playing well and the forwards are dominating. It`s a different story when times are tough and you need him to do something inspirational to help out.He goes missing and yesterday wasn`t the first time it`s happened either.Players like that can`t help us go even close to winning a premiership, but I know of a couple of others in our ranks who are prepared to put their body on the line, spill blood and work themselves to a standstill to win a game of footy. That`s what we need!

I didn't have the best view, but wilson has always been a good defender and I think he still is a good defender despite your claims that he was poor defensively in this match.

I cannot argue on prince more. I have said all my crappy arguments a million times or more and I happily accept that people disagree with my view of him. I think he performs very well at half and has done so all year with a revolving door at 5/8, outside backs that are not yet near the quality of the top teams and a forward pack that gives less space then any side bar souths, manly and the warriors. I think he has a very good kicking game, a great short kicking game, a very good passing game, a good running game and good organisational skills that results in a consistantly performing backline. Of all things, the hardest thing to do at halfback is perform consistantly, and prince has done that this season. I now retire from the Prince opinion forum and surrender the last word to whoever wishes...

On Kerr, I think he is a good halfback that has yet to be tested. I don't think he deserves that opportunity at the tigers because I think Prince has done enough to retain his halfback position in the side. The bulldogs victory was won against a bulldogs pack lacking Price, Mason, O'melley and Ryan...thus the halves had more space then they would have had if they gone up against the bulldogs best side. They were a top 4 side without their best players.

The warriors gave the tigers nothing to compete against and just about anyside would have beaten the warriors with the amount of space and gaps they provided for us.

the second post is the upgraded version...

it includes the improved prince defense in which I claim "he has also proven himself at the highest level of rugby league".

and continue my discussion of Kerr with an assesment of the warriors match, stating "The warriors gave the tigers nothing to compete against and just about anyside would have beaten the warriors with the amount of space and gaps they provided for us."

just in case any of you missed it. :)

Key for Wilson really is if he's in the team it has to be at centre, at the moment he's behind Elford and Halatau though.

didn't wilson get pushed out to centre when buettner came on.. he was defending there once or twice and gasnier just went right over the top of him..

anyone can time a run to fall on a grubber kick.. he did it last year.. and seeing as it worked they just went with that play.. and it came off more often then not..

wilson isn't the same player he was last year.. maybe due to not being the squd week in week out or what.. but halatau and elford both look more damaging players thne he is all round.. they're both faaster can break tackles and eflord knows how to set up his outside man..
kerr and prince i nthe halves in any capacity is a must next week..
kerr has a running game when he runs at the line he makes a few metres and can make things happen..
keep prince i nthe 7 if u want but kerr has to factor in there sumwhere
