That's the big dilemma in mergers. Looking at "dots on a map", it's easy to say that two next-door neighbour clubs should merge - just due to the geography. BUT in many of those instances the proximity actually means a heated rivalry.

Honestly, if Sydney had to be rationalised in the late 1990s, RELOCATION was the way to go.
