The only team that comes to mind that have consistently pulled off true orange and green uniforms is the University of Miami Hurricanes teams, and even they have got it wrong regularly throughout their history.

I couldn't find a good picture of one of their all orange uniforms, but their best look in modern times is when they are one solid colour (generally green) with minimal amounts of the other two.

You definitely need white in there as well (or another shade depending on the jersey and the shades of orange and green you are using) otherwise the colours clash and it just doesn't work.
That actually looks really good. Base away on that bottom pic and invert with the green for the home

I don't want to speculate on something that I will never see happen. If I am going to speculate it will be about something that will happen in my lifetime.
Then why are we talking at all!

This conversation started because you said what I was "advocating" for wasn't possible unless there were relocations. What I proposed would happen over a timespan of 'roughly the next century'.

If you're not willing to speculate on what could happen over a period of that time frame then A. how do you know that what I was "advocating" for isn't possible without relocations, and B. why are you trying to contest it at all if you are unwilling to engage with it in the first place?

The rest of your post, or at least what I read of it, was an appeal to authority repeated over and over. There's a reason why appeal to authority is a logical fallacy, and the history of incompetence in RL administrations (i.e. the authorities in RL) is a great example of why.

Just because a person is in a position of power or is an "expert" that doesn't make them right.

I'd probably try to do the opposite actually. Having orange as the main colour would be more unique in the competition, especially with the Tigers pushing more towards black and white recently.

And keep in mind that every time Miami has tried to move away from that basic sort of design it hasn't really worked very well. Here are a couple of the ones that aren't utterly terrible-

BRISBANE JETS REVEAL TRUE COLOURS

The NRL expansion race is hotting up with the Brisbane Jets working on a colour scheme as they look to win the tender process to become the code’s fourth team in Queensland.

Sport Confidential can reveal the Jets will wear jerseys with navy and bottle green if they are added to the NRL as Brisbane’s second team to rival the Broncos in 2023.

The Jets are considering a predominantly navy blue strip to be complemented by a shade of green, a tribute to the Ipswich region’s links with the military, which includes an RAAF base at Amberley.

Boring navy again...please no more I'm becoming blinded by the amount of navy in our game, plus the raiders are trying to gain that colour scheme too but the bottle green is a good start, ipswich should be heavily pushed if they want to win this bid, ipswich colors, ipswich mascot, ipswich juniors, ipswich training base, keep on trucking with Ipswich, but just remember to call yourself Brisbane and play at Suncorp!
I'd have gone with Western City Jets,
Much like WSW or GWS in Sydney, but a suppose "city" needs definition, to the casual viewer

South Brisbane Jets would be better as it can take in Ipswich and Logan. Negotiate some sort of negotiation with Souths Magpies and it'll create a north vs south divide with the Broncos.

Navy blue would fit in with the official colours of Brisbane and Logan, with green representing Ipswich. Should add gold, which is shared by all three cities.

Sounds like Design Lab picked it with one of their concept ideas.

Needs more green than these mock-ups though.

Gold could be the primary colour as it ties all 3 cities together, with a moderate amount of navy blue. Green can be used in small amounts on the trims of the jersey.

are they going to be called bombers or jets?

Emerald green, navy and silver could be a nice combo as long as design doesn’t don’t look like cowboys or raiders,

They're bidding under the name "Brisbane Jets", that concept set was made before the Bombers & Jets bids merged - hence the Bombers logo on the concept designs.
