"For the first time, a weekend off for international football is planned in May. "

I don't really see the point in having an entire round of games out of Suncorp. It's not like they don't have their own team as is the case with Cardiff and Edinburgh. Although if they were to rotate the host city each year it would be a much better idea.

The whole point of Magic in Britain is that it is played at an expansion venue but with the expectation that tens of thousands of fans will travel to see it. Having something similar in Brisbane will not do either. Sure there are plenty of fans of other clubs in Brusbane and surrounds but those people do get a game up there most years anyway and if not Brisbane then on the GC. If they must do it take it to an expansion area like Perth or maybe overseas or play it somewhere where a lot of fans from a lot of clubs will be able to see it, which basically means Sydney. In fact the idea of Sydney teams playing double or triple headers is hardly a new one and hardly needs to be part of a full round at one venue. They should be doing it anyway. They might actully get some people to ANZ or the SFS again.

we can't even get a pre season NRL game KR, you really think we will ever get a SOO whilst Gallop is in charge?

Common sense has prevailed. Why rob crowds from the Broncos and Titans to prop up Sydney teams.

lol. its so funny. i know what you say.

I guess they just like to talk about it, because its something to talk about. if they never have one of these weekends here, it will be no loss....and the reverse, if they do have one, it won't be a gain.
