Great game to watch and really helped the points differential. Our defense was impressive, especially during the first 20. Hunt was great, very busy and involved and really upped the tempo. I hope Joe O doesn't get too many weeks because he has been great off the bench every since he came back into the team.

Despite our performance, the halves are not really settled for me yet. IMO, Hunt has the best kicking game, followed by Marshall, Milford doesn't kick alot and Nikorima isn't good at all.

Good game and was great to see the intensity stayed right up there till the end. Got a bit sloppy in the last ten minutes when the ball started being thrown around looking for points but when you're up by 20 that's fair enough. Thought our kicking game was possibly the best so far this season. (besides Hunt's shanked kick into touch)

Interesting game. I like how we keep the ball alive and throw it around alot, but they need to settle down sometimes and try to get a repeat set when it's not on. This is where Marshall or Hunt would come in. However you can't argue with results, Milford was great and every team seems to be scared of him. I'm not sure why everyone applauds the Broncos halves when it was all Milford tonight and Nikorima was very quiet.

Yes we were a bit loose at the end trying to keep the ball alive. With Hunt out of the halves Milford's game is getting back to where it was earlier in the year.

So.... would anyone rather Moga in the centres next year instead of Bird??? Suits our play much more, currently we can just throw the ball wide on an early tackle and he'll make about 20m

Works better financially too. It's crazy to have offered a centre $900k per year.

Well that was depressing. Blair, Boyd and Roberts had absolute howlers all on the same night. After watching Radradra tonight it's a real shame he is being lost to the game. Parra were red hot tonight and we played possibly the worst game I've ever seen in the last 20 years. I'm really hoping the Warriors make a play for Blair after that display.

Don't know. Can't believe we had that much dropped ball and Parra had it on a string.

Worst I have seen us play in some time, it felt like every time we were running it out of our own end we were dropping the ball, thank f**k the refs were nice to us tonight

Yes you know you're having a bad night when the refs look after you like that. Parra's kicking game was also pretty ordinary in the second half otherwise it might have been even more embarrassing.

meh.

you simply draw a line through it & move on.

that performance says nothing about the team because everyone had a shocker. every player is a sh*tload better than that. it isn't any indicator at all.

given it was the single worst half of football i've ever seen them play since 88', it is simply good to get that out of the system.

easy to move on from that because it can be used as a motivator - back to simple creeping jesus type football.

A couple of things, what does Nikorima do at halfback? He may as well be wearing 23. Too late now but we should have stuck with Benji. Some of our forwards can be pussies, where has the mongrel gone? McGuire is excluded from that.

Sims being gone for the year is a blessing in my eyes. He's a big unit with plenty of aggression but seems to struggle making meters in the middle which is a bit of a problem when you're a starting prop.

All true but creeping jesus wont beat the storm.
Im also sick of that style of football.
So I guess we are f**ked. Sill holding on to a glimmer of hope though

Agree we have plenty of depth in the forwards. Sims starting the year well but has faded badly.

You should have more than hope - I think you're the biggest threat to the storm because aside from boring solid footy, you have the capability of something brilliant at a clutch moment. And if one person knows how to educe it, it's creeping.

Terrible game. We scored every time we were down their end, if only we could hold onto the ball. Blair was terrible but I'm more disappointed in Boyd, that refusal to tackle Raradra was awful play and not the example a captain should lead by.

1. Hunt I guess.

He's been exposed now unfortunately. I like Nikorima, but he is limited in his skillset and is best as a ball runner when we are going well or to break open a game in the middle.
