Broncos r11.

I'm more optimistic than some. Almost every member of this side has shown good signs at one time or another. At our best we have dynamic and energetic young forwards and spirited and powerful backs. At some point it will all come together, and we will run up a big score against some hapless side.

Unfortunately it won't be next week. Broncos by 20.

If we can keep it to 20 or less that would be a win in itself. Thinking more 30+ to be honest

It's a bit radical, but it wouldn't be boring:
Holmes/Lawson, Su'a, Tsougranis, Finau/Gutho, LKT/ LPT, Liddle, Klemmer, Stewart, Egan, Cook + JdB, Luce, Halangahu, Sele

I wouldn't like to be the Broncos centres.
Rip and tear, boys.

Not expecting too many changes. As we haven’t been beaten by much in all our games besides roosters
Thought Lawson played well and defended well today with Sloan struggling to grip a maybe lawson in.
Withdrawal of Lawrie fromReserve grade could mean something. (Smack face) with Toby injured .
Maximum two changes. Not the huge one most are calling for as not much to come in.
Glover or Illias didn’t do too much in reserve grade today.

Dumb if the coach doesn't dump 3 players for Brisbane game nsw cup just had another big victory Suilli for Lawson sloan for Ramsey kyle for Glover . Coach flanno just could be on thin ice after another flogging v Broncos.

Lawson for Sloan more like it. Ramsey still 5+ kg off playing weight THOUGH he looks so ready. Great try today for cup. But could still be a long way off a first grade return.
and Glover nor Illias did anything to justify first grade .

We seem to be losing most games by a single point so not sure why this one will be 30+
I mean, are Broncos that much better than Warriors, Storm, Manly, Souths? They seem about the same as those teams and we haven’t been beaten by 30+ by them?
The only thing that gives them the edge is Ben Hunt is out so they won’t suck as much.

Are you kidding me?

Aren't you the guy who posted on May third that you think we'd sneak in to the finals, to only then post on May 10th saying stick a fork in us/put a red line through us?

Who are you to criticise other poster's thoughts/opinions/predictions when you abandon your own on a weekly basis and jog on as if you never said anything? 😂

Can’t wait for Corey Allan to show us his true worth in this one. Mann, Cobbo and the outside backs to have an absolute field day whilst Gutho, Sloan and Allan will get plenty of bomb catching practice. All we need is some wet weather. I’m predicting a Anzac Day score.

Ramsey is the type that will never let us down when it counts. I see a lot of posts saying he is not yet ready for NRL, he needs more kilos, and it would be unfair to pick him. At this point if I were coach the only person I’d be asking if they thought they were ready would be Cody Ramsey. If he thinks he’s ready then he is ready, not sure if he has said anything on it. He has the speed, the skillset and the character we really crave, and he bleeds red V.

i certainly don’t suggest he would turn the ship around single handedly but just how long can we endure the roll call of failed wingers and centres we have already tolerated this season, they are a real weak spot in our line up, who would deny this? Ramsey could also play fb and catch the pressure bombs Gutho has been dropping over the past 3 weeks, Gutho is needed at 6 where one of our other weak spots is. The time is approaching when it will already be too late in 2025 to salvage something.

It would be genuinely completely negligent to play Ramsey in NRL. It's not going to happen, at least for this year.

2025 is already done unfortunately.. focus for the rest of the year should be developing all these young kids properly and getting onto recruitment for 2026/27 really early. Start tapping up players and managers now. Start splashing some of that cash we have. Start telling plodders their services aren't required in the next couple of months.

In this game.. the broncos are an overrated team. They really aren't going to do much this year given how mentally fragile they are. However, I do agree with others that we're going to play them into a bit of form and Mam, if he plays, will carve us up. 42-16 their way

This year reminiscent to 2023 where Griffin coached dragons lost I think 5 or 6 by less than 6 points then got flogged and Griffin was history, maybe a flogging at the hands of the Broncos this week will see Flanagan gone

I read an article saying Ezra Mamm was placed on report for an high tackle. I haven't seen it but if he's unsuccessful at the judiciary he won't be allowed to play that being said even it's an illegal tackle worthy of 7 weeks he will get off Scott free and play against us as the NRL wouldn't want to upset their darlings.
