hahaha I can picture it now....2020 grand final...Broncos are up by 10 with 10 to go and Hunt sets up 2 tries to take it to golden point. The Broncos decide to kick it to you guess who and he steps half the team before putting Dufty into a gap then looms up in support and takes the pass then goes in under the posts for the winning try.

*drops the ball over the line with no one near him, the ball rolls backwards 20m, a stray donkey chaser picks it up, the ball goes through 567 sets of hands, Anthony Milford takes a pot shot at field goal, it hits both posts and the crossbar, bounces back into the field of play, and sits up perfectly for a random donkeys prop, who casually strolls over and plants the ball (replays show he actually fumbled the put down, but the ref awarded it without calling for the video)

What a stupud rant. It was because he had a thing going with the players and that was him being the winner. This is exactly what we should be seeing in the game. You want the respect, earn it on the field.

That clip is way different. First, we weren't up 50 f**king nil, second, there was 25 minutes to go, and thirdly, Roberts never even played for the Roosters, there was no rivalry there at all. You had Milford, Hunt and Kahu on the field, up 50 zip yet you chose Roberts to take the kick? Come on man.

I hope to god that Hunt goes on a f**king rampage at the Dragons and they do the same thing to your team if / when you get flogged.

Kahu was hindered with an injury and Hunt wasn't on the field. It came down to replacements and Roberts had just as many credentials as anyone else. Not only did he kick the goal I posted, but he used to goal kick for Souths and Penrith in the NYC.

It's a non-event and as kbw pointed out, there were bigger gripes than a replacement kicker lining up a shot.

So any of us who support the GC will readily admit that we lost tonight because we were f**king dreadful, I don't have any issue with that. What I do have an issue with, is the complete and utter disrespect by them to, of all people, have James Roberts kick the last goal, on our home ground, in front of our home fans, to finish off the game. I mean, you put 50 on us, and yet...you do that, you rub salt into the wound which many GC supporters see as a show of complete disrespect. Shit like this is what makes me, and I'm sure other people f**king hate your club. There is no class in doing what you did, none at all.

Broncos fans, post your best :cry pics, gifs or whatever go for it, I don't give a shit. But come finals time I will be death riding you A holes all the way to the end.

I can understand your frustration but Roberts found a loophole to jump ship due to the incompetence of the club - correct????

The bigger picture for your club is the ongoing drama surrounding where you're halfback will be in the future. If he signs with Brisbane then you can effing lose your shit.

The powers that be at the Titans have had a heap of back patting from all parts - the media, fans, commentators etc for the way they have worked to turn things around but if they can't keep a hold of the halfback they should all get an arse kicking.

That really wasn't what it was about, we've been flogged by them for 7 years, mostly because we are still f**king terrible. It was about the kick and the kick only, which I just assumed was a way of Roberts getting one over us for whatever wrong we did to him. But as others have said, maybe they didn't have any replacement kickers on the field at the time. Just seemed an awfully big coincidence that's all.

I also take the point given here about respect having to be earned. We deserved none last night after the way we played. Thread can now be caved, I just wanted to get some thoughts on it is all.
