Don't expect to see this confirmed by a media outlet yet but massive rumours coming out of Red Hill this morning that the Boncos are set to shock the league world by defecting en masse to the S14 competition, starting next year

A combination of conflict between the NRL and Broncos, stemming back to the early 90s and in many senses a key contributor to the SL war, has flared up recently with Wayne Bennett openly criticising how the NRL is running the game.

The poor performance of the QLD Reds has driven the ARU to take the extrodinary step of asking the Broncos if they want to take over the franchise

Individual bronco players will have the option of being released from their contracts if they don't want to move across to union

Massive development. The poor start to the season by the Broncos has largely been driven by this dissatisfaction with the NRL administration
