easily my favourite games each year, i believe it is one of the stronger modern day rivalrys and think this game is going to be a cracker, just look at the names playing for a spot in the big one. Its gonna be a real show

No, no it's not. You can say 'we was robbed' but history will show that this Melbourne side, for all it's absolute dominance, had issues in the big games, and won't care about contentious refereeing. I think the only people who remember the attrocious refereeing of the 1995 grand final are bitter Manly fans and Dogs supporters having a bit of a chuckle.

The 2006 Grand Final is up there with the 1999 Grand Final as the deciders that pissed me off the most. Funny that first time around I wanted the Storm to lose, while 7 years later I was backing them all week.

I felt that last years' final was the Storms' revenge for the '06 Grand Final. It was a Broncos home semi final, Uncle Wayne's last season after 21 years at the helm, it was going to be the fairytale finish and then Melbourne gatecrashed their party at the death. I was out that night and taped the game. Watched it the moment I got home and the moment it ended I rewound it and watched it again. Best semi I've ever seen.
