For the 6th game in succession the lads put in and showed commitment. Luckily we finally came up against a side mentally weak enough to allow us to go on with it. Hopefully from here we can get a few more on the board which should keep us in good stead for next year (finishing above souffs would be chuckle worthy). Of our 5 remaining fixtures we should go in favourites against the saints and I give us a fighting chance against Penrith and the Broncos.

3 points: Boyd Cordner. 184 metres from 18 runs, 25 tackles with 0 misses, 1 line break and 1 try in 80minutes of playing time. Superb all round game from Cords.

2 points: Shaun Kenny Dowell. 1 try, 1 try assist, 17 runs for 122 metres, 15 tackles with 2 misses but the big one.... 12 TACKLE BUSTS! Guy looked dangerous every time he touched the ball. I thought he was outstanding.

1 point: Dylan Napa. Played the first 50 minutes straight before he got a breather, and he lead the charge with 17 runs for 144 metres last night.

Honourable mentions - Dale Copley (looked like a first grade player last night), Daniel Tupou and Blake Ferguson.

Can Cords be our captain now? Thoroughly deserved his try and it was great to see a number 11 score on a night we celebrated Artie. BTW, how good was Artie's highlight reel on the big screen? The man's offload abilities were peerless. The ball rarely died in his arms. Daley should've shown it to Gallen.
