Brookvale Oval holds only 13,000?

According to Paul Kent on Sky Sports Radio this morning Brookvale Oval holds only 13,000 people. The ground is a sell-out at 13k according to Paul.

It's a well known secret apparently.

So the final round 18k crowd against Penrith was really 11-13k.

If true, no wonder the NRL doesn't want to hold a Manly v Souths finals game there.

Moanly biatching about having to play the semi final away from Brookvale is getting tiresome....

Its not like the NRL brought the rule in this week...

Don't know what they're bitching about. Last time we played a final against Manly at Brookvale, Souths fans outnumbered Manly fans anyway...

Why is it that every single Souffs fans is an absolute f#cktard? The number of Souffs fans wasn't even close to half the number of Manly fans.

Maybe he means 13k seats with 10k the legal hill capacity?

Brookie would be lucky to have 4k seats.
The hill isnt big either compared to most.
Ive always thought it looked significantly smaller than say Kogarah, Liecharddt, Wollongong, Shark Park etc... scrap that. It IS significantly smaller. Ill buy into this 100%

It's a well known fact that souffs are the most popular sporting team in the known universe. They regularly out number home fans at their away games despite no one turning up to their own home games.

It is a well known fact that roosters fans have never outnumbered souffs fans at any game in the history of rugby league.

In it's heyday it was 20+ but with OHS I wouldn't be surprised if that 13k is accurate.

They even outnumbered Manchester at an English soccer game.

So if they are over inflating the crowd figure by say 3-4k, are they then paying more tax on ticket sales than what they should be?

I personally think its a load of shit.

You can not hold finals at a pigsty.
Other codes are already pushing us out of Sydney's major stadiums.

The best senerio for the NRL is for Manly to not make the top 8. We have had 10 years now of Manly selling dud wingers to other clubs while keeping all their superstars.

Time for the NRL to start spending some talent, time and money on the Titans, Raiders and Warriors, clubs that struggle to find decent players.

They never helped Brisbane replace Lockyer, they will probably allow the cows to hit the wall when Thurston retires, and the same will probably happen to the Storm.
In the meantime Manly have two internationals in their halves, the Roosters are not happy with just two, they also want Hastings as well, probably so other clubs cant buy him.
This code is a joke.

Same rubbish every year manly fans complaining they cant get a home final in the worst ground in the NRL, the facilities are shocking and no way should a final be played at that ground.
