Nathan Brown, slightly bias, but if he keeps playing the way he is now then he sure is up for a chance.
(Oh did i mention i had money on him when he was at odds of 61-1 lol :D )

Two other chances, Dal Santo and Cousins...

I'd normally back Brown but since he went to the dark side I'm kind of lost for a choice. Next in line would probably be Tredrea but... #-o

Nathan is a true superstar now that he is at a real club.

On current form he'll give it a real crack.

I knew you were Mel but Cams call about Terry just makes me sader still. :(

I really liked Eade before he came but I dont know if I'd keep him over Wallace. Now if we could of had them both... :D

For an outsider/dark horse I'll say Giansiracusa. Most exciting prospect for Western in the longest time. His class this year has come out of the blue & for a young kid he has some serious composure under pressure. I can see Will Minson becoming a gun in another 2 or so years as well. With shoulders that big the guy should be playing league though!

Is he one of Terry's kids ;-)

Gilbee would be my fav from the Dogs at the moment. I've watched a lot of their games and he will be picking up some votes.

At this point, Brown, Dal Santo & Cousins look like the picks of the bunch.

That being said, I wouldn't mind having some fundage on Luke Hodge at the very tempting odds of $51.

Expect that price to start tightening considerably in future weeks.

Cousins, he would certainly be good value. Although, he has the issue in Juddy taking votes off him.

Especially given it seems Pavlich is the current favourite now that Juddy is out of the race ... Pavlich? pfft, He will not even get close to winning it.

I wouldnt think Pavlich could win it.

On Cousins, he not only has Judd taking votes off him, but Fletcher aswell those three are awesome, which obviously is half the reason why the Eagles are so good right now.

No one has mentioned any Geelong players? Being 2nd on the ladder at 6-2 they must have some decent players?

Judd shouldn't have snared many votes this year anyway, but given that he received some he shouldn't have last season, who knows?

I would think Pavlich would be more than capable of winning it. Fine footballer.

That being said, he is playing mainly out of CHF this year and we all know how rightful potential winners Reiwoldt & Tredrea were absolutely creamed by the umpires out of CHF last year.

Geelong are a good strong side, but noone really stands out there, other than Ling, who has had some quiet weeks. I could see Geelong getting heaps of votes as a club, but not getting close to a winner.

For those who are interested, latest TAB Brownlow odds:

6 - Ben Cousins (WC)
9 - Matthew Pavlich (Frem)
11 - Nathan Brown (Rich)
12 - Mark Ricciuto (Adel)
13 - Nick Dal Santo (St K)
14 - Warren Tredrea (Port)
16 - Luke Hodge (Haw)
Cameron Bruce (Melb)
17 - Dean Cox (WC)
18 - Chad Fletcher (WC)
23 - Peter Everitt (Haw)
26 - Andrew McLeod (Adel)
28 - Sam Mitchell (Haw)
31 - Mark Coughlan (Rich)
41 - Shane Crawford (Haw)
Luke Ball (St K)
51 - Matthew Richardson (Rich)
Travis Johnstone (Melb)
Scott West (Bull)
61 - Lindsay Gilbee (Bull)
Corey Enright (Geel)
Nick Stevens (Carl)
81 - Nigel Lappin (Bris)
Simon Black (Bris)
Nick Reiwoldt (St K)
Daniel Wells (Kang)
126 - Anthony Koutifides (Carl)
Shannon Grant (Kang)
Peter Bell (Frem)

For mine, Nathan Brown would probably be just shading Ben Cousins to this point, but Ricciuto would be my favourite, as Adelaide are playing strongly and he is a noted vote getter.

I couldn't have been more right with my comments on Luke Hodge last week, with the young gun tightening from 51 to 16 after another top two performance on Sunday. Hawthorn has quite a few high rankers, and Crawford could be surprisingly good value at 41. Forget about Everitt who provides too much lip to the umpires to draw serious votes.

West Coast has a stunning number of players under the odds of 20 (Judd probably would have been in the 20s somewhere also) and while Cousins has big claims, I can't see Cox getting it and (for mine) Fletcher looks a bit too drab to catch the attention.

Koutifides and Shannon Grant are great speculators at 126 apiece, as is Corey Enright at the tempting odds of 61.

Even at 61 and 81 respectively, however, one feels that Nick Steven and Daniel Wells are way too short.

Pavlich is a top footballer and will benefit from few players drawing votes away from him at Freo, but -- again -- he is a CHF and tthese players just don't win the big prize.

Bruce and, to a lesser extent, Dal Santo will probably also benefit from being key primary vote winners, whereas the hopes of key West Coast, Hawthorn & Richmond players will be mitigated by each club having multiple high vote pullers.

Hmmm... It will be interesting to see how messers Gilbee & West fare should the Hounds string a few more wins together over the year.

Darky`s for me are, Alan Didak for Collingwood, and Shannon Grant for North Melbourne.

Grant will surely poll well, but Didak is no chance in hell!

Revised Odds, as of this morning (14/6), for those who may be interested:

03 - Ben Cousins (WC)
11 - Mark Riccuito (Adel)
12 - Sam Mitchell (Haw)
Scott West (Bull)
13 - Jonathan Brown (Bris)
14 - Matthew Pavlich (Freo)
Travis Johnstone (Melb)
17 - Simon Goodwin (Adel)
Cameron Bruce (Melb)
21 - Luke Hodge (Haw)
35 - Cameron Ling (Geel)
Warren Tredrea (Port)
41 - Andrew McLeod (Adel)
Nick Dal Santo (St K)
Barry Hall (Syd)
Dean Cox (WC)
Chad Fletcher (WC)
51 - Adam Yze (Melb)
61 - Peter Everitt (Haw)
Mark Coughlan (Rich)
71 - James Clement (Coll)
81 - Shannon Grant (Kang)
Daniel Wells (Kang)

Several players have taken a huge tumble over the past 3 weeks, with Ben Cousins firming markedly as the very clear favourite.

I'd love to see Travis Johnstone or Cam Bruce get up, but with so many other players in the team capable of 'stealing' their votes it's not looking likely.

Is Jonathon Brown eligible? Wasn't he suspended? Just wondering the rule on suspended players!
