Carry over from last year. Brown's suspension was from the 2004 GF. I cannot see why he wouldn't be eligible for the 2005 Brownlow.

He's certainly eligible as it stands now.

Whether he can maintain enough self control to be eligible come Brownlow night is another matter.

Its unlikely to matter either way, given key forwards just don't win the award. Especially after missing at least five games for the season.

Brown wont win it, and you're right, a forward never wins... although he has been a pretty handy midfielder as of late :p

Even though I think Cousins has been the best so far this season, I do not think the AFL will let him win due to the whole scandal he and Gardner were caught up in. I think he will poll well, up until the story came out, after which he will only get a few votes.

Being a Crow I hope the Big Roo goes well, but I think this should be a very tight one. There are a heap of players in contention this year.
