Following muzby's pretty rad idea, I'm going to do a kind of passport pub crawl.

Looking for suggestions for choice bars in the CBD/Rocks area.

So far I've got Lord Nelson and Hart's Pub as front-runners, but looking for a total of 10-12 bars.

The Orient is in the heart of the Rocks. There's also the First Fleet Bar. Let's not forget the Paragon.

As for Lebanese restaurants close to the city... there's Zenobia in Leichhardt (yes, a Lebanese restaurant in Little Italy).
Al Aseel in Newtown also has had some very positive reviews.

While they're both good, there's Lebanese food places incredibly closer to the CBD than Newtown and Leichardt.

Thinking I'll start it at noon and we'll grab lunch at the Australian or Hart's before kicking on. Then stop for dinner around 6-7 before continuing on until we find boobs.

If you really want to do it well, dress the guy as a convict and go through all the traditional pubs I've mentioned. Then have 'convict' challenges that he needs to do with the group - carry a heavy load (carry you), follow orders (skull a beer), construct a building (build something with paddle pop sticks in 5 minutes with kraft glue), feed the men (buy you and serve your food), irrigate the crops (urinate on a tree - that will be hard and I don't recommend due to cops)...

Based on the prices at the bars I know, I daresay I'm going to need to take out a mortgage on my house to afford to get sloshed :lol:
