Bull grubs next week.

With Reynolds ruled out and their main strike weapon being dropped in lieu of Chase Stanley (craziest selection call i've seen for some time), we should bring this one home. All we need to do is show up in defence against their woeful attack, win the battle in the middle of the field and it'll be happy days.

Never write off the Bulldogs though, especially after last week. When they were on the receiving end of their last drubbing, they came out and beat the Broncos the following week.

Still have the Morris brothers

Hope the boys don't underestimate the dirty dogs.

They will be absolutely desperate.

We need to start fast and get on top early, then stomp all over them

It's a simple premise for victory tomorrow......stop the Morris twins.

If MacDonald marks Brett Morris, it will get ugly, and I predict a hat trick of tries down his wing. Josh Morris has also scored in just about every game against the Dragons since 2009.

The other major area of concern is video referee, Luke Pattern, whose distain for St. George Illawarra is widely known. This is the same bloke who once appeared on The Footy Show, and punched a Dragons' soft toy while being interviewed.

His appointment for today's game is worrisome.

There will be high drama as usual against the filthy grubs. They're literally desperate and so is their coach.
Have a look at his pre game presser - lost in space.
Mary needs to prime the team and put the nails in the coffin first 40m.

Lost in space. LOL.

Dessy been on the crack pipe again. Chase for Brenko, he's been one their best.

Match fire with fire in the first 20 minutes and that should do it. Reynolds is a big out for them. Without him, can't see much change in their attack.

I fully expect Brenko Lee to play

We need to make some changes to our game plan:
McInnes and Widdop to take kicks in general play - no McCrone kicks please.
  1. Macdonald to left wing and take high kicks close to the line from Widdop.
  2. Make the Dogs forwards tired by smashing up the middle with good short off-loads from our pack.
  3. Forget about the up and in defensive plan. Our wings and centres need to mark up.
  4. Have Frizell and Thompson attack the Dogs halves one on one in defence and attack.
  5. Have McInnes take more runs from dummy half in the last 10min of each half.
  6. Really smash the Dogs back 3 in defence, they are injury prone and won't last the game with only forwards as replacements.

This game hopefully will tell us a lot.
Last week not so good, but did crack a win whereas last year we would have lost it, so at least something positive about that.
Other clubs are now beginning to lift Manly, Cowboys and Penrith are getting into stride and performing better than early in the season and maybe just maybe the Warriors might get something going.
We have been going well enough and very pleasing compared to last year but today's game is a test of what level we can really lift our game to.
We have a softish draw in the second half so that does not always go well for you as you need some stiff opposition to really hone your skills and keep on top of the necessary hard work required to knock over the better teams.
I really hope we can put a completely dominating game together today and put paid to the Dogs season and show we have the ability to lift against tough / grubby opposition.

Host is the weak spot. Will be a good player but shouldn't be on the bench ahead of others. Field should be in bench in case we need spark and are coming from behind
