Cubensis, Can you please use paragraphs.. please?

Sure, I was to wound up about that Buzz b/s to be using proper English grammar. Sorry but thinking we were loosing Brett did really upset me as much as getting robbed @AMMI in 99 did.

Canterbury is the brand of the jersey!

Oh never mind
:BDH:
Yes I know that NOW& I do mind annoying people & I do care so your correct in calling it gibberish but I seriously didn't know till people in this thread told me&am thus sorry for wasting peoples time with an incorrect prognosis based on ignorance. I'll never forget it now either. How would I know that if I was never told. It's probably my fault for not scrutinizing Roo's jumpers before this. I am just a Dragons fan thru & through so I take big note of anything to do with my Dragons & find the rest just a side show to my Dragons games. I was stoked the Blues finally got a victory cause we sure deserved it. Who got the SOO iron man? None other than our own Bmozz. What he did for the blues took more guts than 3people put together,he's a living hero full stop! I may have unleashed gibberish through caring so much about whether we keep Brett or not but I didn't do it on purpose, whereas BUZZ did. Ps love your dead horse belting pic, cracked me up big time cause I think i thoroughly deserved that pic after headbutting the wall for hours over Brett going when I saw that jumper. God I can be a dill at times, lol!!

yeh it's been a while...

2 years since graham tried biting off slaters ear in the grand final...

18 months since barba left because the dogs couldn't cover up his behaviour up for any longer...

Oh and who can forget the lovely incident day after grand final when one of your trainers yelled out to a journalist to "suck me off you dumb dog"

but you're right...it has gotten better.
lol

The BMoz rumours just won't go away. It's bizarre how many versions there are of them.
One minute I read on one forum he'll debunk if Sheens signs, then the next it's Mary he's not happy with. Latest versions have him having the shits about not getting enough free tix for friends and family, or being offered up by the club as a trade for Kasiano.
They can't all be true, if indeed any are at all. It's almost as if someone is setting about doing their best to destabilise the relationship.
Can only hope it's all shite, we need him to be to the club what blokes like Creagh, Hornby, Young and Cooper are.
Exactly bottle, B/s floating all over mate. The chances of McGregor& dousty agreeing to swop BMozz for Kasiano is as likely as we'd swop Widdop for Ben Roberts,or Benny Creagh for Myles=absolute Zero, wouldn't happen. How many games BMozz has won for us against the odds is near uncountable. Look at what he did to the Bunnies in Golden Point in round 17 last year! He scored a try we didn't need to swop field goal attempts & the Bunnies were top of the table then & we were where Price had us at 14,almost in for the 1st ever wooden spoon.

Morris & Nightingale would be my first pick in any side. You can build sides round good finishers. How many times do you see either score and say how the f*#$k did they get over that line. Both are worth whatever we pay them and then some.

Sure forwards can create play, but you still need someone to get over the line.

At any rate, this is just rubbish speculation. I thought long and hard as to putting something up or letting it die the stupid death this thought deserves. Seriously, It will be a cold day in hell for him to go there in any foreseeable circumstance.

Dont give stupid rothfield the satisfaction or traction on this.

And Brett, if your trolling the forums, tell your loyal fans that the story was not worth wiping your a&s with.
Brett finally did. He got a pic taken late last night holding a sign saying " As if i'd ever play for the Bulldogs- Dragon For Life" So damn The Buzz for stirring us all as much as we let him & I think I reacted the worst of anyone& just lost the plot for a while over BUZZ Rothfields B/S,lol So we can rest peacefully again as Brett told us himself-& he don't lie& never has.

Moving Dugan away from fullback counter acts that logic. It seems that the dragons still don't understand the spine is where you make the most investments..
One of the things i have pushed for all year was that Dugan is a better strike weapon in the centres. Read the statistical improvements his game has jumped by including defending so far in which is hard, his number of tackles&tries, offloads etc etc etc I was stoked when 'Mary' moved him to centre it was just what we needed. He's a Gaz incarnated, look at his build& Gerard Beale is doing fine at fullback where he would have been all last year without that knee reconstruction after 5-6 games at fullback. Don't forget he left Brisbane to be fullback for us. Check the statistics & if still in doubt talk to the coach about it & Duge's who prefers centre now he's seen what he can do there. Talk to McGregor about how he doesn't understand coaching& footy like you bloke&then duck, lol. Did you listen to the Reg Gaznier tribute song on the Dragons website about how the centres provide the spark that fires the engine? Sorry about going on but that is such a huge statement to come out with. Good luck for all us Dragons fans tonight :)

Sorry to be pedantic, I was merely trying to make it easier for others to read your posts. You're obviously an extremely passionate Dragons fan. It was interesting to see the reaction of fans to the possibility of losing Brett Morris to the Bulldogs.

Also, thanks for the tip about the Reg Gasnier tribute song ( I hadn't heard it before ).

i think if Beale never got injured we wouldnt even have Dugan.

i dont think Beale is the answer at fullback long term.

Saying Dugan is better in the centres and then using his increased defensive workload as justification for this is just plain stupid. you would hope your most potent attacking weapon doesnt have to tackle his backside off each game.

restricting your best attacking option to only operating in a corridor down one side of the field is just plain stupid..

would you agree that Inglis has gone to another dimension since shifting to fullback?
would you agree slater at fullback has the ability to roam anywhere on the field thus making him more dangerous?

i'm not saying Dugan hasnt been going well in the centers, what i am saying is that is dumb logic to weaken one position to try and strengthen another which is exactly what we have done.

Brett Morris sticking with St George Illawarra Dragons, says Paul McGregor

By Steve Mascord

Aug. 29, 2014, 11:57 p.m.
They may be out of the finals race, but St George Illawarra coach Paul McGregor says the Dragons won't be losing winger Brett Morris to Canterbury.
The joint venture side's penultimate game of the season reflected their campaign as a whole; a rearguard action that wasn't quite good enough in a 30-22 defeat at Suncorp Stadium.
Morris has been linked to joining brother Josh at the Bulldogs next year.
"He's under contract for next year as far as I know," said McGregor. "We're looking to extend him if we can."
But a serious ankle injury to captain Ben Creagh may prevent him playing in round 26 and even endanger his Four Nations prospects.
McGregor was also asked about reports he planned to sign a prop. "Everyone keeps telling me we need a front rower, so we must," he said.
"Everyone said we didn't have size six weeks ago and that went away. It depends whether you're winning or losing, it depends what everyone wants.
"I'll have a look."
While St George Illawarra won't be playing finals football, they can still reach a target McGregor set when he took over as caretaker coach.
"I thought when I took over we needed to finish on 28; in the end, we needed to finish on 30," he said.
"With 14 games to go, I wanted to win eight. I thought that was achievable. We're playing Newcastle next week; we can still reach that goal of finishing on 28 points.
"…which is a good finish to the year but you'd always like to play semi-finals."
McGregor played down the impact of the sin bin dismissal of Matt Gillett on the Dragons' late revival.
"I didn't even look into it – it's not for me to worry about," he said.
"I spoke to the boys about it – when we've been playing the better sides, we've got a 15 minute window in us where we're not playing the full 80.
"When you're playing against quality teams and they see that, they go for the kill. We've got to be better than that."

"15 minute window", I'm not so sure as it seems like throughout the whole game we were under major threat whenever the Broncos were attacking our red zone. From 5-10 out from the tryline we look very disorganised in defense with guys compressing always leaving an overlap.

"They say we need size", I just see that against the good teams they can play us through the middle, I don't like wrestling, some of those dangerous grubby moves are pathetic but we are no good at slowing teams down through the ruck. We need more punch in the forwards in both attack and defense, we desperately need better defense against good teams, against lesser teams we are just fine.

So it's confirmed. Thanks for the memories Bmoz.

**EDIT** So finishing outside the 8 is a good finish to the year? Mary should be sacked for that comment alone!!!

Unfortunately I without knowing about 'Mary's comment' have made that point a few times on twitter. I used to see it more in the 1st 20 minutes of the 2nd 1/2 but have come to realize it can occur anytime & I haven't worked out why yet. I think we'll do very well next year& that 'Mary' OUR master coach WILL iron it out before the start of next season. Gee they must have got the full spray at 1/2 time, lol
