Bulldogs chasing Brett Morris

Brett doesn't need to leave. He's accomplished everything in the game under the Dragons, and doesn't need to look for another club in search of those accomplishments, i.e a premiership and etc.

I don't want Brett to go but I am sure every player that is approaching their last contract would be thinking about getting the biggest pay day possible. You are a long time retired.
Hopefully the dragons can get close to any other offer he may receive.
I am sure Brett does not want to go but like all of us you have to think about your family and there future.

Shoot me down but I'd be ok if Brett left and we got some decent mongrel in the forwards as a result. The impact of wingers is far less then what forwards bring, he is quality but we have more depth in the backs to adequately cover.

Who knows the truth of this ? But it maybe that he might have a deep desire to play next to his brother Just saying.

I love Brett, would hate to see him go, but if the figure of him being shopped around for 600k are accurate, id be quite concerned.. lot of good young players can play on the wing, cant finish like BMoz but would free up 200-300k of your cap.

My suspicion is that 600k wasnt accurate.. but that was what was in the previous forum post on this topic.

There is no better sight in the game then B. Morris running 90 meters to score like on the weekend... If we are robbed of seeing that in the red V purely because of salary cap pressure, then the NRL are a disgrace.

Look, I'm sceptical of the whole thing. I may be wrong but I have not seen any evidence that Morris actually wants out.
- Dragons would be howling if the Bulldogs are in breach of the anti-tampering rules.
- I think this is just another of those highly speculative bullshit stories that Rothfield frequently comes out with to take the heat off the scum...ASADA, spoon, complete basket case club etc
- even our management isn't that thick to allow him to go...surely?

This is key... NRL needs to protect these situations...give the kids (and the rest of us) people to follow, especially if they want us all playing out at Homebush in interchangeble jerseys like a PS 5 game.. Forget about chasing Israel or cutie... tribal support comes from supporter emotional connections.

There has to be more concessions for long term players as well as up and coming local juniors. Both Morris boys at the dogs just won't sit very well.

Lol you're like the Japanese soldiers left in caves years after WW2 who still think the war is on. Our management are as thick as they come. Cant believe anyone could still have doubt about that

Insane.

If we let Brett Morris go to the Bulldogs what do we stand for as a club. And then our fans want to bag out teams like the Roosters....at least they recognise the value of their current legends.
