THE Bulldogs have thrown us all a dummy that even Johnathan Thurston would be proud of.

All this talk that they want to sign Brett Stewart, Kurtley Beale, Darius Boyd or Josh Hoffman to play fullback has been a tactic to camouflage their real target.

The player coach Des Hasler really wants is none other than Test winger Brett Morris.

I'd be both surprised and devasted but things like this happen. They had the opportunity when Josh was off contract and can't see it happening now. Brett seems pretty happy where he is. Guess it's no different to when the media were saying Josh was coming back to the Dragons

As much as this may be rumor and innuendo, lets face facts here, Brett, and Nighty, aren't getting any younger. These two are key in our undoubted world class back line. They are key to us potentially winning another premiership, and that window is quickly closing. We need to recruit in our weak areas to prepare for the next 3 years, otherwise it will be more of the same past 3 years.
