Elsewhere, Parramatta forward Adam Peek is expecting some advice from a couple of neighbours about how to stop the Sydney Roosters winning the minor premiership on Sunday.
The Bulldogs, Peek's former club, can clinch the $100,000 first prize if the Eels upset the Roosters in Brad Fittler's official send-off game at Aussie Stadium.
"I live in the same apartment complex as [Dogs fullback] Luke Patten and I spoke to [forward] Jamie Feeney today," Peek said last night. "It's only Tuesday, so I'm sure if they've got any tips they'll be ringing me and telling me."
Bulldogs chief executive Malcolm Noad said of his Parramatta counterpart Denis Fitzgerald: "I might give him a call before the weekend and wish him all the best ... they have our full support." But Fitzgerald responded: "It would be hard to pick from the Roosters and Bulldogs who I'd prefer to win the minor premiership."
