Their all talk and no show, if they beat parra i'll give them some respect but for now as far as i see it they are living off past glory and haven't done anything to warrant being called a finals team or a quality team.

Yes, a myth that has done more than your club. Actually if your club had achieved what ours has since 86, you would refer to them as legends, but since you have achieved 0 in that time, winning a piece of silveware would be refered to as a myth around your club.

Was Bob Hagan a myth?

It shouldn't be neutral, parra won they deserve the right to a home final not a neutral final. It's bullsh*t of the highest order and is not a just reward for winning an away final.

MATE it's no longer 1980... To limit a huge game like this to a 20,000 would be plan stupid!!!! Your advantage is you are playing in Sydney!

I don't understand why Parramatta fans (Some non fans) are bitching, Homebush is 10 minutes away from Parramatta stadium PLUS even if it was at Parramatta Stadium it's an NRL game you wouldn't have any advantage there!!!! Crowd would still be 50-50 at worst/best because we get to buy tickets at the same time you guys do.

Id wish youd shut your mouth aswell but you cant always get what you want.

The amount of sh*t the Dogs have come out with this year, ud think they were undefeated this season. If you dont make the GF this year you would look foolish.

This is not the same dogs team of the past few years, lot of the current players are riding on past years glory ie Matuia, Tonga and Sherwin to name a few.

I'm not saying the game should be at parra, i believe it should be at telstra i just don't feel it's much of a reward for winning their game, surely you can understand that.
1980 i wasn't alive back then.

Its gonna be a really tough encounter, however it showsthat based on last weeks defensive performance against the warriors the eels can defend a much bigger pack, ala doggies !!!

Lets hope we put in a massive defensive effort and the rest will sort itself out !

Neither was I LOLOL...

I cannot understand it... Unless we go back to all semi finals being played at the SFS/SCG or Telstra then it'll never be perfect. I believe this game if it draws a huge crowd will boost RL in Sydney (With the media etc) to higher levels (esp. that the Swannies are out). If Eels want an advantage then Parramatta supporters should go to Homebush in there tens of thousands and make it a sea of Gold and Blue... But i can guarantee you Bulldog supporters will be out in there thousands.

Maybe people should learn to actually let a discussion flow instead of unnecessarily turning into a slanging match or insults. OK?

Oh f*ck, the dogs players are opening their big mouths again.

They play better when they keep their bloody mouths shut
Don't they all ;-)
Finchy will no doubt open has mouth again and tell the world about our greatest backline in the entire universe or something.

if eels were caught playing someone like manly at brookie in the 2nd week of the finals they would be the first set of fans to kick up a stink that 30,000 + would miss out. Last year, all week 2 semis were played at Aussie. This game would fill up Aussie and Telstra is closer to Parramatta and Canterbury, therefore it is the logical choice...homeground advantage?? Telstra is not a home ground...its neutral

It was always home region/city, not home ground after week 1. I don't understand why people are struggling to understand such a simple concept.

Didnt Willie Mason come out after the last Dogs V Eels clash and says something like ' we wont be worrying too much about Parramatta if we come up against them in the finals '.

theres been a fair bit of talk by the dogs but im not convinced they can deliver. they are nowhere near the side they were last year.

Did he? Proof... Or are you talking from your arse?

I bet he said... We'll be better prepared or confident when we play in the finals (Completely different). Willie Mason didn't play last time as well.

Should be a great game and I agree the only place to host this classic was at Telstra. It might actually be a little unsettling for the Bulldogs with it not being a home game!!

It will be interesting if Parra choose to use the home change rooms. (Which they are entitled to do!!)

Dogs have not been at 100% capacity all year, but at 100% will beat the Eels IMO.

The Eels though have played at least 3 games this year at or close to their capacity.

The form says Eels the potential says Dogs!!

Considering the Dogs very average record at Telstra Stadium this year i'd be more than happy to play them there if i was a Parra supporter.

No he actually did come out and said he would not worry about the Eels in the finals and that we didnt play that well.

I would love to see Mason eat his words.
