that was one of the few positives from a bad performance, sonny played pretty well and looked dangerous with nearly every carry. I'll say it again, our fifth tackle options are killing us. To me the roosters really got the upper hand on us when they defended their line so well against us at the start of the game. Roberts is emerging but still doesn't have the ability to consistently find right options. That one play were he passed it to Tonga in the roosters 20 on the last in the first half was a dead set shocker.

Anyone who doubts how good Sonny Bill Williams is has no idea about League what so ever. Hell even a non League fan could se how good he is.

The Bulldogs are basically a one man team now in attack, problem is he is a second rower, not a play maker. They will be better off when Ben Barba is ready for first grade.

Sonny Bill was good, but if he put as much effort into making tackles rather than trying to shoulder charge every second person that ran at him it might've helped his cause. He must've missed 6 or 7 of them tonight easily.

Exactly. I'm not downplaying SBW's efforts out there, he and Patten kept the game interesting. However, I don't recall SBW attempting a tackle other than to come in and wrap up the already tackled player. For the most part, the shoulder charges that did hit, the attacker just bounced off him and ended up making a couple of extra metres. If he just hit them with a driving tackle into the ribs at the pace he was going, we would have been pushed back 5 yards each time.

He could make 58 tackles, make 10 offloads, score 4 tries and have 8 linebreaks, and some muppets on here would still say he is crap and soft

SBW has quality hit ups, he just needs to increase his workload, 7 hitups in a game is poor in my opinion, same problem that we have with Pritchard and Puletua, they think they are centres.
