Exactly this…. EXACTLY….If a mate and I were joking around for years about something that I thought was inconsequential, then one day he says, repeatedly, "you know what, I actually don't like that joke, it's caused me a lot of harm, I've asked you repeatedly to stop it, so please, stop it."
You know what I - or anyone with half a conscience - would say? "Shit mate, I'm sorry, I didn't realise that, I thought it was just the usual banter between us. I'll stop it now."
I wouldn't double-down on it that's for sure. The guy has textbook narcissistic personality disorder.
Of course it is Hoops….

OK. No problem. It won't happen again.Hey guys this bullying is really affecting my personal life. I can no longer perform in the bedroom and my wife keep asking me what's wrong and when I explain I'm being bullied online she laughs at me so please stop. Thank you for understanding.

Peter Fitzsimons??Isn't he married to someone who dislikes rugby league in a big way.
Jessica Halloran?I really rate Anthony Maroon and hope he turns up elsewhere. Hooper's fake blokey laugh on that show is disgusting. Isn't he married to someone who dislikes rugby league in a big way.
It's not about who does cashies (presumably in public speaking). That is between the people concerned and the Tax Office, and people like Kent and Hooper are free to talk to ATO privately if they have information. It's about a bloke who asked his fellow workers to lay off only for things to get worse, leading to him needing to abandon his employment. In any place where I have worked, this would be a serious matter indeed.I am by no means a Kent and Hooper fan.
Since the incident I have paid more attention. Heard both Wendell and MG comment about doing a 'cashie'
I have heard Matty Johns use the same term before.
somewhere in the middle would be the truth I would say

He can still sue the station for making him leave due to work place bullying. He'd have been better going on stress leave though! It is never black and white in these things.
read Kents article. I presume when quizzed he would of said similar.
If Maroon wanted to comeback would of made it interesting then HR would have to make a decision.
Can be a fine line between banter and bullying

Yes it is a fine line but when the victim of it specifically tells you to stop as its harmful and you don't, then the line isn't so fine anymore. To then blame the victim and claim he liked grandiose gestures is pretty low, but I wouldn't expect anything less from a News Ltd muppet.
I agree it can be a fine line, but in this case the line was very clearly defined by someone asking his coworkers to stop.It is never black and white in these things.

Quits or was pushed? its a fine line lolLooks like Kent has fallen on his sword!
Could've told you that years ago.Kent: "It was a simple joke, not particularly funny, that was driven for no other reason than to elicit a response from him."
Hmmm that is pretty much emotional bullying right there, at least he can describe it! What a complete tosser Kent is.
