Footy Tragic

Don't know but they had Coveney, Heretukatuka and Mcdougall all go up and down.
Maybe it has something to do with their association with Manly.
The Cabra deal with Cronulla was not just a feeder association. Cabra was going to have their own NSW Cup side, training and playing at Cabra, and Cronulla NRL would just send excess players back. Similar to the Wenty/Parra deal. Think Parra were worried Cronulla might sneak in and tap into the Cabra juniors. Parra prefer to keep all their younger juniors and then shaft them around 19 or 20

So down to the Bundy Cup Grandfinal... Bulls Struggling for 17 players and Wenty primed,Fit and get a few extra back from Nsw Cup.Although stranger things have happened i cannot see the Bulls toppling Wenty.. Wish i had backed them 10 weeks ago at $10.. Magpies by 16

Wenty by 18 pts.. With Three NSW Cup players Back for The Game & Karlos Filiga back...too much Class for The Bulls, & Terry Too Late for Parra Officials to Bark & Bite over any Cabra players playing out of The District...4 Cabra players on the " Newtown Jets" Wanted List...Those players are Definately in Newtown Jet jerseys next year !!!....

He definitely deserves a shot he's a very good player, Cabra will miss him if he goes.

Dead Set Right Thea..Francis & Louis are my Older Brother Boys & are Keeping their Options Open & Have Still Signed with Cabra just Incase The NSW Cup Thing dose'nt work out for Them & Another Reason They Won't Trial with Wentys or Western Suburbs as they don't want To play Bundy for Both Magpies clubs But Rather be Back with The Cabra Boys ..So The newtown Jets Option Suits Them Fine....

That's great Rocks, the V twins deserve a crack.

The only thing that concerns me is that they will be ok to go to Newtown but unless Parra allow it (and I cant see that happening) after June 30 they cant come back, so if they are not playing for Newtown they will be playing for Mascot or Erskenville.

How is Karl Filiga performing in the Bundaberg Red Cup? I heard he was playing for the Wentworthville Magpies.

He was playing very strongly for the State Cup team early in the season and then went back to NZ on compassionate leave and when he came back Wenty left him in the bundy team and he caused havoc. There are not many centres around that can stop Karl.

Finn and Topou were among the 11 players that appeared for both the Bulls in Bundy and the Bulldogs in the State Cup side this year so there must be a fair chance that they will play in the State Cup again next year if they stay with the Bulls.

Fluke, Moore, Sargent and Hawkins played all Premier League as far back as 2003 so if I think they are well past the point of training 4 or 5 times a week for minimal payments. Also, Nasio, Galea and Clarke have had a couple of seasons in the State Cup so they probably will not go back.

Towney has been signed by the Panthers so we should see him play for the Wolves. Hopefully the Parramatta officials give Lupi and Sione a run next year because they played very stongly in the second half of the season and look better players than some of the Parra guys in the Wenty State Cup side.
