If you look at the ladder Souths are below the Roosters.
The Roosters have lost at home to the Sharks, Cowboys and Knights.

So, the Bunnies are worse than a team thats lost at home to three of the worst four teams in the comp. And not just lost - been spanked to boot.

If we're average at best, they're worse than average and they have a very hard draw to come. I wouldnt be singing either.

How we can be in the top 8, and in Souths case, be equal on points with teams that have lost more than they've won is beyond me. Having cause for optimism is even more laughable.

You haven't encountered too many Broncos fans, have you? There's a few decent ones on this site, but most of the ones I've encountered in the flesh are absolute f**kwits who think they are the only team in the competition (following on from the attitude of the club itself in the mid 90s). They wouldn't watch a match that didn't invlove the Broncos if you paid them. And most of them hold the opinion Souths were rightly booted out and should never have been re-admitted.

It was completely illogical, because what we do doesnt directly impact what you do. Individual results are often far too isolated in a comp such as the NRL to have any true meaning. You're damn right.

But the truth is, Souths are not having a brilliant year all things considered. They're travelling ok. In fact I think they're travelling better than the Roosters because we've dropped our bundle against some terrible teams and Souths have been a little more solid on more occasions. But I just cant see 8th spot and as many wins as losses and a hard draw ahead of you to be a reason for anyone, regardless of how arrogant they are to be mouthing off about how great Souths are.

That's the logic I'm using to say why there aren't hundreds of Souths fans in here making claims on anything. Well that and the fact that you're hoping the season doesnt go to sh*t once more.

I agree with all of this.

If we didn't have to play the Dragons and the Storm twice each in our run home I might be a little more confident. That loss on Saturday really hurt us.

I honestly want to see the Bunnies do well. I actually cheer for them except when they're playing the Saints or the Tits, so I guess you could call them my 3rd favourite team. Not sure why their fans on this site seem to regard getting one up over the Saints fans as so important, but I guess when you've been starved of success for a long period, you have to take your frustrations out somehow (this I know full well).
