Read the Origin eligibility rules before posting stupid shit ffs
They'll be changed. This isn't Tamou. If someone lives here long enough to get citizenship and makes the commitment of being a citizen they should automatically be origin eligible.

Like I said before a situation where he lines up for the Kangaroos as arguably the first picked forward in the 2015 ANZAC day test and then isn't allowed to play Origin is too ridiculous to be allowed. Rules will be changed as they should.

You do realise that even if he does become a citizen, he can still play for England

They didnt change the rules for SBW, they certainly wont change them for monster head Burgess

Let me put this to you, then. Using my father as an example --- he was born in Portugal, to Portuguese parents. His blood is 1,000,000% Portuguese --- that can't be in dispute --- and he was born there. At the age of two, he moved here, where he grew up.

Now, is he Australian? He certainly thinks so (& you may notice his situation parallels Petero Civoniceva's) but the fact is he is not & never could be Australian (as I've explained to him in vain many times).

What is the confusion? Its so clear.

Moved here at 2, did all his schooling here and speaks with an Aussie accent? Pretty sure he qualifies as an Aussie mate!

ORIGIN. State of ORIGIN. Not State of RESIDENCE. Not State of CITIZENSHIP. State of ORIGIN.

Do you understand that yet BM? Get a dictionary and ask your carer to look up the word 'Origin' for you, then ask her to explain the Origin eligibility rules.

None of the Burgess brothers will represent NSW.

The Burgess boys would only be able to represent NSW if they changed their allegiance from England to Australia, which I'm quite certain they would never do.
