Rare mistake from Hayne too, I've seen him catch countless balls harder than thatDumb offload on the first/second tackle. Story of the season really. It wasn't a sitter to catch either.

No, I reckon it was both their errors...it was just a rubbish piece of play at a crucial time. Caylo should have known better, but given the way we were playing at that stage Hayne should have been awake to the possibility of an offload. They both have a responsibility for that piece of play. Very frustrating stuff
All the players are crap you idiots and if you don't believe me then I'm gunna punch ya heads in, Im a bouncer ya know. I'm tougher than yous all, ya imbis.
I was about to abuse you for not making a sign to let me know where my cheesecake was, but you sound way too tough, as you were.
fairly good pointFellas...don't agonise too much about all the "what if's"...if the all the game's "what if's" actually worked out then the tigers would have been up by 30 at halftime...Farrah's fumble under the posts..Ellis's video ref's decision...at least two bad passes from Laurance to Taukiri with a clear run to the line...three quick penalties in succession kickstarted the late surge..without those i doubt it would have happened. For what it's worth now at least your for and against didn't cop more of a hammering
I can't believe Tahu's intercept attempt which was a sitter that lead to a Tigers try hasn't been mentioned. He catches that he runs 100m to score. It was a 10 point turn around a far bigger c**k up then Burts missed kick. We had plenty of chances to win that game before that penalty.
Why stop there? Surely Price's comments in the paper need to go away too, Hindy couldn't stop Fifita from 2 metres out, Kenny is supposedly a rubbish coach, as is Sterlo apparently looking at our halves and the less said about the Thornett stand the better...
On a not entirely unrelated topic, else notice with Sterlo's commentary that he was annoyed with Robson & Keating being on the wrong sides of the field? As he helps coach them the issues this drudges up are:
1. Sterlo isn't good enough a coach to instruct to them something as basic as "you stand this side of the field, you stand that side of the field" - Possible
2. Robbo & Keating don't listen. If so, fantastic move to get rid of Keating. It could more likely be that in the heat of the battle, they crap themselves and forget any coaching - Probable
3. Anderson tells them the opposite to Sterlo. Poor communication if that's the case... as well as causing me to worry about young Murray as perhaps the issue is that Ando doesn't know what to coach halves or how to get them into a gameplan. In NZ he had Stacey Jones, St Helens he had Sean Long, both players had established themselves long before Ando arrived and we've never seen him develop a young half - Scarily possible, time will tell
i'd be interested to see what he actually does when he turns up to do a session with them ..... is it more specific tips (like kick with this bit of your foot, land it there, pass it there, etc) or is it more broad stuff like you stand on that side of hte field all the timeJust on your comments re: Sterlo....
you cant polish a turd...
You can try all you want to coach our halves but if they simply dont have the ability it isnt going to work... that is what it has come down to.
Whatever it was, you could tell Sterlo was frustrated the halves didn't take it onto the field with them.i'd be interested to see what he actually does when he turns up to do a session with them ..... is it more specific tips (like kick with this bit of your foot, land it there, pass it there, etc) or is it more broad stuff like you stand on that side of hte field all the time

Went back and listened to it and it sounds like it's Robbo & Keating's problem. He says something like they should be kicking from opposite sides of field, which made me think maybe Ando tells them to play those sides, but then he follows up with they should know to switch when the kick is coming up. Sounds pretty clear that Sterlo's told them what to do and they didn't do itJust on your comments re: Sterlo....
