Nrl game prob won't finish until 715. Wonder if they will keep some of the bars open?

It's a big gap, but they tend to the same between 20s and firsts

Come on the Knights.

Were behind 14-2 at half time & Mullin got them going with a great try assist. Then it was 14 all.

Then he gets charged down, goes back & retrieves the ball, loses it & dogs score.

Couple tonight's loss and Storm grabbing first spot, and I expect the usual "have the wheels fallen off the Sharks?" stories to get a run in the media this week.

you only have to kick a penalty & maybe add a field goal & you've won.

a team of six year-old female downes syndrome sufferers would score more tries than our bunch of chewies.

and furthermore we'd still be tryless against that team.

With 4 games to until the semis what needs to be addressed to get us playing our best footy.
1. Defence - success this season was built on lines speed, strong first contact and driving back one out runners. This limited opposition yardage sets and gave us field position. This style of defence requires a lot of energy. It is clear the pack has slowed a step as fatigue has kicked in. Need to get back the energy to defend with that intensity in the middle.

2. Edge reads - the system on the edges has worked for the most part with enough trust and judgement to limit damage from opposition sweep plays. When in trouble scramble has been good. Barba has communicated and organised well for the most part. Need Chad and Maloney to keep making strong first contact. Centres and wingers need to work better together.

3. Kick defence on the left - both Feki and Beale have not defused kicks they should have. Feki in particular looks shaky under the high ball. His technique is poor and he will be spotted. Coverage and support are critical to limit the contest.

4. Running with support - in yardage sets they can fall back into one out running that gets dominated. Need short support in setting up for early shift against compressed lines. These are effort plays so the energy needs to be there.

5. Game management and executing big plays - The halves and Ennis are critical in getting home in tight games. For the most part they have been excellent. Against the Tits Maloney should have iced that game and didn't. Execution must be spot on in the semis.

6. Centres and Wingers - all 4 have been down in the past few weeks and they need to lift.

After last night I reckon we are still very well placed to give comp a massive shake.

Good summary Weapon.

The Raiders were very enthusiastic in defence & looked like they were leaving early all night, as they were on us before we knew it.

Can those at the ground confirm?

This is where the crowd has to play its part with booing...didn't hear much of it.

In the finals at the SFS, for some reason, sharks fans really get loud. I reckon the Raiders don't get away with nearly as much next time, if there is 1.

I think you have been putting the effort in & hasn't been coming off.

If Benji doesn't play the other night, you win.

Piss him off & put a good young bloke in there.

Actually don't piss him off until after we play you please.

Will be interesting to see how the Titans perform today...see if they run out of petrol like we did.

Currently 6-4 over warriors, 1/2 way through first half.

They are fortunate they were the home team & got an extra day's rest.
