Everybody knows what a low merkin Hopa is, so id say its a very good chance it was deliberate.

Its also well known how stupid he is, and he's career was proberbly never on the mind, its hard to concentrate on two things when you are Hopa.
How you can stick up for him after yet another fault is laughable.

Mate don't defend the indefencable. As a said before he was a mile offside if the referee blew a penalty it may not have happened. But there is no excuse i was at the game and it happened right in front of me and it was delibirate, it bothered me at the time that manly fans and players were yelling and happy about this cowardly act while a bloke was in disney land. You are a disgrace Hoppa.

It looked ugly. He basically launched himself at Galloway... it was intended to be a shoulder charge, but he had his elbow up.

Silly boy. He'll get AT LEAST six for it. And then Manly will tear up his contract.

Hoppa has just played his NRL last game.

it was an absolutely disgraceful tackle. anything less than 16 weeks will be a injustice. was reading in the telegraph today that he should be banned for the rest of the season. we don't need flying elbows in league and we certainly don't want hoppa anymore. he's run out of chances this time.

I am listening to SEN (Melbourne and Adelaide sport's station) and every 2nd or 3rd caller is about this thug.

He has gone into the same Basket as Danny Willams(Although danny is a nice bloke off the field) and more than likely Even worse. He belong in the Hall of SHame

he will get 14-16 weeks for that hit.
Hoppa performed the same hit on Justin Tsolous in a game vs the Eels in 2004. He ran out of the line and put a big hit on, but didnt stuff up...this time he did.
He will play again this yr, but that depends on whether or not the Eagles sack him or not
