Cowan looks set for Khawaja who blew another start. He sure finds ways to f**k it up

Cowan knew he was in the frame for selection and he didn't nothing to suggest he shouldn't be picked. Looks like the sort of guy our batting needs, Khawaja would be another but he just ain't converting the starts like he use to.

I find it hard to believe the arrogant attitude of India, its raining and this does not suit us so we'll just walk out on the game.

Doesn't seem to matter too much to them that Australia are also trialing a few possibles and probables as well.
A potential diplomatic furore threatened to erupt yesterday morning after a chain of ''Chinese whispers'' started by a ''flippant'' remark from a member of India's support staff, not involved in team management, worried that wet weather would interfere with the team's Boxing Day Test preparations.
''He made a flippant comment 'we may as well go to Melbourne','' said Manuka Oval's venue manager, Matthew Tokley, who will today file a report to the ACT government's media explaining yesterday's brouhaha. ''It was a case of Chinese whispers. That's then completely blown out of proportion, coming down to a threat from the Indian team to fly to Melbourne which is completely not the case.''

I can understand their point. If it was forecast to rain for 3 days, they'd have been better off practicing in Melbourne instead of sitting at Manuka Oval waiting for the rain to stop.

Listening to Mickey Arthur's comments about needing an all rounder and Cowan's ton, I think Sunshine might be omitted.

Cowan surely opens with Warner. Superb from him. I hope he takes his chance because I'd love to see him succeed.
