A bloke rang Craig Hamilton thisafternoon with a rumour that took my attention. He said he had it from "a very accurate source" (heard that one before) that three things would happen: Chris Anderson would be appointed as Souths new coach, Brett Kimmorley would then follow him.

His clincher was that the new halfback for the Sharks would be A.Johns. OK, it very well could be complete crap but, he had three other recent predictions come true - still just a rumour of course but a tasty one at that.

I wouldnt mind Johns for Kimmorley but it aint going to happen. Kimmorley's contract has a bit to go and I dont think he minds the shire.

Johns has a temper and seemingly a passion for getting involved in distasteful incidents and is always embroiled in controversy and the topic of bad rumours going around
Kimmorley is a committed professional and a family man who is a good example

On the field:

Johns seems to get major injuries all the time now
Kimmorley had one problem last year but he's generally as tough as nails and should play most games this year

Kimmorley is younger too
There's no way I'd swap

Ok let's dispel this rumour before it gets beyond stupidity.

Shane Richardson is the new CEO of Souths.
From recent quotes he hates and detests Anderson. There was a fair bit of sniping from Lang and Richardson at Anderson on the way he tried to shake the club off it's foundatuions. Also they were quite vocal of the treatment Preston got from him and that the form 5/8 was not chosen on the Kangaroo squad.

Kimmorley has another 2 years left on his contract after this year. He is far younger than Johns who at most has a couple of seasons left in him but is a huge injury risk.

Why would the Sharks pay overs for bucket arse????

Why would Kimmorley go to a club to start again?
