agreed. big call but piss him off and put all your eggs in the basket with rein. this blokes the goods.

They are both very good aren't they, I suppose we can't keep them all but time will tell. These two and that young Broncos hooker I think it's Hunt are the most promising young hookers in the game for mine.

Thats too bad. He looked very dangerous in attack and solid in defence while he was on. Rein had a blinder but one can see what all the fuss is about in regard to King.

RedVDave and BBC the same person?

I think your right I did overreact and exageratte quiet a bit, I think I was just upset at the thought of Youngy playing hooker again when we should be well and truly past that stage by now, wonder if there is anyone in the lower grades who can get the gig?

We must have watched a different game because I didn't see him do anything that looked remotely threatening. He ran out of dummy half for a 8 metre dart and threw a couple of wobbly passes and then went off. I too am a fan of his but geez...

Hey, I don't know if you meant Kurt Baptiste, but he's a young hooker from the Bronco's who looks really really good. I think people were calling for him to be in the Junior Kangaroo's instead of Cam King.

I think Marketo would do a really good job at hooker. Clever ball skills, reasonably quick and dynamite defender. I would much rather see him at dummy half than Dean Young. Good call. Bad luck to be down two hookers already. As for King...unlucky again.

There is only so much you can judge from a player who has played I think 3x 1st grade games, and finished 1? But the 20mins or so against Manly, he seemed slightly quicker than Rein, in both his running speed & his ball service, the ball just leaps off the ground a little faster.

Physically, Rein & King have a very similar build (short & stocky), and im happy with Rein but he doesnt blow me away, but for a new kid hes already competent. Rein seems slow (yet to his credit he still makes 1-2 breaks per game), and maybe its just an adjustment to 1st grade, but a lot of his passes are very flat, which as a team we need to work on, I hate getting pinged for those.

Our go forward was much better when rein was on the field as he is really good at attracting the markers. if u watch cam smith he throws flat ball after flat ball after flat ball. That's what we need from rein. It forces the forwards to hit the ad line. I like king and I was very vocal in the pre season calling for his inclusion but I don't think anyone can honestly fault what Mitch has done in the first 4 rounds. He has been outstanding.

Young in the 9.

Mitch to come in after 20-25. He would be incredibly dynamic at dummy half against tiring forwards

With Jack and Prior being out, shows the quality depth our squad has.

Question is, who will make way when they return? Ah Mau and who?

Rein has been outstanding so far. Wish we could have seen more of King over the next few weeks.

De Belin was rested not to risk any further damage to his shoulder.

Honestly as a young kid, he should take as much time off as he needs.. for someone who's game plan is to run headlong into 120kg men, I dont want him risking something like a shoulder!

It's almost like the football gods have decided that King isn't meant to be.

By the time he recovers from this one Fein will be back as well. Then Price has a tough decision on his hands.

I was a King supporter and I really feel sorry for him and the bad run he's had with injury!!

However, Rein has been a revelation this year and has been playing the lights out! IMO, we definitely look more potent in attack with him in the game.
