you just cant build a side around a hooker who is only there for 1in2 or 1in3 games, it means you need a replacement hooker constantly in your rotation... which is why i liked him as our occasional bench hooker.. but anyway.. so close yet so far again for King.. i wonder how much determination he has left.
From a glass half full perspective, it saves the club some blushes when a new coach (one who hasn't declared Mitch an Origin contender) goes recruiting for a new hooker. Would have been a touch embarrassing if King was playing regular NRL.
