hello fellow eels,

can anyone tell me if Speechley is still at the club or has he moved on with all that talent in front of him. I think he is a genuine future superstar.

thanx for your time:D

I believe he's signed with Canterbury.

I'm not sure whether I'd go as far as saying that he's a genuine superstar of the future but at this stage there would of been plenty of play makers in front of him had he decided to stay and play in the NYC.

he's listed on the team list on the parra website though......

I believe that Junior list is 2007's and not 2008...

that list also has players who have moved up to the NYC.

you can play both as long as you are eligible age wise

I think the list has been updated cause there's a couple of newbys there and in the harold matts squad too

Plus the draw has been updated

Holic , I don't think the team lists have been updated for 2008 for Matts and Ball, sorry.

I hear that Cam Speechley has left the Bulldogs , no further news if he is anywhere guess we ask our sources and revert.

yeah..the NYC squad is definitely updated, but they must be still trying to finalise the Ball and Mathews squad.

They'll probably have a couple more trials to make the last couple of cuts i'd say before the comp starts on 16th Feb

Cam Speech moved on from Parra to the Doggies...
however he has decided to call it quits. He had given footy up...
He had to make a tough call. Try and train and play like a semi prof on 10k a year.
Or continue his apprenticeship and go on in life and gain a job...
he chose the later

good luck to him..the moment you lose a bit of passion and drive to go on would be the time to focus your energies on other things..

it was brave and wise move for someone so young.
